I've been looking and looking for a master protected items list for use in my profiles, but so far haven't had much luck. I found some profiles that had fairly decent lists, but nothing consistent. I also found an old protected items list, but it used the old format and I don't know if that's still supported by HB or if it is supported, I don't know for how much longer.
So I set about creating a new master list and formatting it to the new HB format. I copied out all the most extensive lists I could find, compated them in Notepadd++ (compare is a wicked plugin), removed the duplicates and reformatted it.
My apologies for not giving proper credit to previous profile designers. If you feel that your work was included in this list, please message me or post in this thread and I will edit/update accordingly.
So here you go, use as you will. If there is anything you think is missing, please let me know and I will add it. If you have a protected items list you feel should be included, please post it up and I will see about merging them together

Good work man, however, there is a protected items and a forcemail block in the wiki @ HonorBuddy: Getting Started as a Profile Writer - Buddy Wiki
suggest that if you have any changes to that, you PM chinajade with them. That would be the person that updates the wiki.

That doesn't mean you've done a bad thing, just that it could be directed to a better location :P.

The Wiki's ProtectedItems was updated again yesterday.

This is why we strongly suggest you never put a <ProtectedItems> element in a profile, but keep your <honorbuddy_install_directory>/ProtectedItems.xml up-to-date. As omissions get found, or Bliz introduces new things, the Wiki's copy marches forward. Its just a pain to go back an update each profile when this happens.

Alas, there is no equivalent ForceMail.xml at the moment. We've submitted Bugtracker #379 for that.

cheers,
CJ

Code:
<Item Name="Empty Vial" Entry="3371" />
       <Item Name="Leaded Vial" Entry="3372" />
       <Item Name="Imbued Vial" Entry="18256" />
       <Item Name="Enchanted Vial" Entry="40411" />

These have been removed from the game but they are still in your wiki list.

Thank you *very* much--updated.

By the way, its not *my* Wiki, but the Community's Wiki.

cheers,
CJ
