Thanks to Nesox I have the code in place for a paladin to protect his or her party members. This is one step closer to running instances and raids.

Convalesce will scan the group when in combat and will detect if your party members are under attack. It can be setup to react in many different way but I want to hear your ideas. I can bubble that party member, Hand of Reckoning the attacker, etc, etc....

There are many different options here. My plan is to have a dedicated tab for party protection. This will only be available to the party leader. Starting from level 1 it will simply target the attacker and attack it. But as abilities like HoR and Righteous Defense come in, we will have many more options to deal with these type of threats.

Also planned is healer assistance.
 
well, while I dont know much about prot pallies, I dont play one, this sounds absolutely amazing.

I still cant wait for... POGUE!

if (partymember == healer)
Hand of Reckoning the attacker;
or bubble healer;
if (partymember == dd)
Hand of Reckoning the attacker;
if hand is not ready, don't bubble him, save it for the healer
 
maybe a whole list of a sequence of spells to try, hand of reckoning add, stun add, fling shield on add, etc etc falling back to consecrate near party member.

Very excited at the possibility of farming heroics with bots... hand play them until you get a bit of gear, then let em loose... Be a great cheap way to gear up fresh 80s once u have 4 geared ones...

Ill definately be buying another GB Lifetime if i can farm heroics...

Edit: Hell even if i was manually playing, a constant scan of the party would make me a much better tank... just manually steer it around....
