PROs and CONs to ISBoxer

Not sure, but i would say:

2 x Diablo on ISB >>> 2 x without ISB (the standard way of doing multi-boxing)

Since it seems ISB applies some optimizations, like the CPU splitting thing and so on . . .

I just bought 90 days, I don't even know where to start though. Literally.

:(

I just want to run two instances. I'm completely lost.

Use the wiki, they have tons of guides that walk you through basic set up.

Open ISsuite then just plug things using the QuickWizard. It is self explanatory from there.

I haven't seen a clear answer on this yet, does running multiple games on ISBoxer increase or decrease system load overall?

Depends what setup you use, overall its less for me, and even moreso if you dont enable quickswapping.

Has anyone gotten DB itself to luanch via ISBoxer yet? keeps giving me errors.

Yes it does for sure. I have 1 window at 1024x768 and 8 windows at 200x150 and my CPU is at 50% without it 6 windows pushing my CPU to 75% and probably because the smallest the window gets without it is 800x600.

Tried the 7 day trial and think the streamlining it does is worth the $40.

Decrease. Fastest performance I have seen multiboxing is with hotkey net because hotkey net lets me render the game in an overall lower resolution isoboxer just resizes it. And while yes you can set your game to a single core you can also do this with control alt delete.

Daysus's hotkeynet macro has the best performance vs. no program at all.

same question here..

You can resize just by dragging the corner like any window, only if you have borders set on

As far as performance. I was runnign 2 bots and starting to see some performance issues on my computer... pathing and what not. I switch to IS boxer using round robin CPU settings, Adjusted my pixels to 200x125 and hotswap off. The hotswap takes a decent amount of resources. Now I can use 2 bots and run a 1200x860 diablo and play at the same time with very little lag.

the window scaling stuff it does just looks cool when botting. When you see a bunch of tiny windows all running sarkoth it looks awesome :)

The way I run it is 1 big window, and a bunch of smaller ones attached around the side, kinda of like a security camera display layout, when you click a smaller window it swaps place/size and becomes the big window.

firework can you link to that macro? i googled it and couldnt find it. I'd like to render these in a lower res

Seems like a cool program. Great post carguy.

Now, I ask this question fully intending to not derail this thread into a tinfoil-hat-theory thread: is it known whether blizzard is or is not able to monitor how many accounts are being run off one D3 client simultaneously?

does anyone know how if isboxer can enter my email addresses for each account? i've set the 'account name' field for each character but it doesn't seem to work.

No, it doesn't handle logins at all. What you do, is:

1-There is an option to keep individual preferences for each "character/account", check that
2-set all your passwords the same across accounts
3-once all the windows are loaded, click the "link" button (top left)
4-Type your pw in one window, the other windows will log in as well (since each saves the correct account email address)

5 second process :D

Anyone figure out how to launch DB along with each client? No luck for me so far.

Ive been multiboxing for years with Isboxer i did my own 10man raids in WoTLK in wow. I ran 5 characters in a 20man raid in rift and did all the hardmode content in Rift. I multiboxed in Guildwars, Aion, Eve Just about every game i played. Before i started Demonbuddy I was Multiboxing 4 barbs in act 2 inferno.

I am running 12 clients that I just setup with ISboxer last night... Although it seems to be lagging like crazy and is very choppy... Where as I never had any lag before running with IsBoxer, I figured it would help performance and not hurt it.

Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
