on the conrary. the number of botters are immense.
i encounter 2~5 daily and i don't even intaract with people much.

Blizzard TOS does not override the Law. It can't and neither can you, so how would you agreeing to let them violate it allow them to do so? Combine that with a handful of other laws preventing a TOS agreement from even trying to ask you to give up your rights among other things and what you get is a bad business model to try it. It's not that it can't be done, it's that it can't be done without being caught (as in we catch them, unless you think they're hacking our systems to block the trail too?) doing something that violates federal law

where is this federal law, everybody is talking about. i cant find any laws that forbid to scan.
yes. everybody says it's law. but nobody can tell, where this law is written
 
so... if you hire on to a job, and in the contract it says the company has the right to search for drugs or firearms in your locker at any point of your employment. is this legal? do you give up your right of protection from unlawful search and seizure if you sign the employment papers?

just a question about the mysteries of the world. or maybe some info from someone with some actual world experience instead of what they read on the forums of the internet.

its easier to find ways around the illegal search of your hard drive than it is to find the law forbidding it.

Nobody cares about Federal law. It's European law and therefore Blizzard won't break it. They've been cautioned by the German, French and Dutch justice departments before and if they were caught now, they'd be banned from doing business in Europe. That'd be a lot more costly than any Bot.

so where is the european law you are talking about? i cant find either paragraphs or french, german or dutch lawsuit cases

wait... what?!?! americans dont count? i just gave you more than a few reasons blizz can scan your hard drive in america and you still tell me 'doh!! dey cant doo dat...'
 
all about the law... the 4th ammendment. great. that gives me the right to take a lawsuit against avast, norton, avg, eset, all the other anti virus program companies.

you might say:"hey, but you gave them permission to scan your computer for your own safety. you accepted their eula/tos"
i might answer:"hey, i also gave blizzard the permission to scan my computer for my own account safety. i accepted the eula/tos"
