[Program - Dev] Apoc's Profile Editor [Semi-Beta]

ok the no more files error caused because teh wow was running in background. Since I started I got "write protected errors"
The solution was to delete the cache folder completely. Then instead of starting the wow.exe, start the game with launcher.exe. Then click launch. It will re-generate teh cache folder again, but something is different this time, because the editor won't exit with error.
If you delete cache and start the game with wow.exe the editor will die next time.
If you get no more files error, check if the wow doesn't work in background:)


I hope it will be useful for somebody else:)
 
New build is up.

Should ignore files in the cache dir, as well as not crash when the file doesn't contain the info StormLib needs. (EG; patch MPQs)
 
When i tried to download, it said the setup files are corrupt, please obtain a new copy.
 
Dropbox really doesn't like me right now. Once the file stops 404'ing, just grab it again. (It's still uploading)
 
is 4.0.3a including the world changes already supported?
 
im getting that same error as dooky to im on windows 7 i dont know what i do wrong

Had a read through the thread couldn't see ref to my problem, when ever I try to correct Z coordinates the editor crashes, using a fresh install and a fresh profile created with the editor, I uploaded the crash logs when prompted 3 times now just in case ^-^
Tried the above just in case it helped but it didnt, looking forward to questing support in it as my fingers are starting to bleed with CTRL-C CTRL-V :-)

As I stated in an earlier post; the Z fixing is broken, and will stay broken until we figure out the new terrain format.

Cool, ta for the info I did go through most of the 30 pages just allot of waffle must of missed it ^-^ was hoping to have some new profiles ready from next HB release.
Sounds like you guys still have lots do do if you don't even have a terrain format sorted? This patch didn't sneak up on us, its been available for some time bit baffled.
 
Okay, I had the same issue opening. Closed WoW and all was good. Damn, this tool is hot Apoc!

One thing I noticed. I tried opening a grind profile for Borean Tundra and I can toggle on/off all the nodes and NPCs, but for some reason I don't see hotspots changing in the visual editor when I toggle hotspots on/off. Maybe it's something simple I haven't done, but at least I have it open and technically working...that's always a good first step :)
