Profits on 10+ bots?

a 6% crit Mempo will sell, always. He put it on the AH, it had a 800m bid on it 2 minutes later. Got up to 1 132 000 000 or something like that. After the fees it was somewhere at 900m+ which is good. To calculate your chances on getting a crit mempo, you just need to see how many affixes can roll as random in total on the helm. Thats your chance of getting a crit mempo.

1) roll the item type,
2) then roll the item level,
3) then roll the item quality,
4) then roll the affixes on the item,
5) and finally roll the values of the affixes.

Item Type needs to be helm (100/n of item types)
Item level needs to be 63 (16,3%)
item quality needs to be legandary (mempo is 4%, because there are 4 legendary helms, 3 of them are set)
mempo needs to roll crit (1/N chance (N=number of affixes possible)
needs to roll 6% the best case.

I'm not perfect at math like that, but you can see... the chance should be really slim. To keep it a bit more basic just look from point 2

16,3% to roll ilvl63
then I guess its 25%? to drop a legendary (white, blue, yellow, legendary(set is counted as legendary)
of that its 25% chance its a mempo

so its 4% to drop a legendary ilvl63 (in case of a helm) and 25% of 4% to drop a Mempo so .. 1%..
I guess the math is wrong, but the chance is slim, thats the point :D

(38 item types) so 2% chance to drop a helm.

0,02x0,16x0,25x0,25.. = 0,0002% chance to drop it:o

Actually all my stats/math are crap, because its never a 1/5000 chance to drop a mempo I guess-_- needs to be a lot lower...but my friend does confirm it T_T

Guess, based on your numbers, that there is a 0.0002% chance that a legendary drop will be a 6% crit mempo.

Without reading the rest of this post -- I'm guessing there are a bunch of people that are trying to throw out "factual" information and data to support why you should or should not do this. The fact is, more bots just means more profit... Assuming you have the internet speed to back it up and the hardware as well, there should be little to no difference in performance. You will need stricter loot rules. I do 10m+ valued items only (darkfriend's script based loot rules).

If you can afford it and handle the amount of bots, by all means, go for it.
