[Profiles] Adventure Mode Bounties - Community Edition

I have no idea, all i know is it happened as i was looking at it and i was in aww and question the entire time... lol literally stared at the tv for 5 or so minutes like... seriously.. wtf?

Basically you can see from the log though that the bot loaded the bounty, kill the butcher, then it got stuck...
after that, all the latency came in and basically took over the log. I did a character check, and its over 48309 characters of "trinity performance execution" dialog in red font.

when i started seeing the sheets of red continue down the log window, i noticed that the TPS went from 15, down to .82, and then it crashed.

I'm thinking its maybe the flames that come up from the floor and the bot didnt know where to go since the entire floor, or at least a good majority of it lit up, and got stuck. although after the flames go down, the bot should have been able to say hey im not stuck any more...

as far as the crash goes, i cant find any info on why it crashed, nor any errors in the log.

just a dead, blank crash with no info to go over :/

Yeah, if that is true... it is probably a trinity issue. I'll send it to Rrrix.

ok thanks, Im going to shut down and turn my modem and router off for a few mins and let the lines clear as well. been running for a week straight, so lines might need a good hard reset.

hopefully that will solve the red latency dialog in the log window.

To me, it looks like you aren't using updated profiles. If you are able to downgrade to Trinity .22, with the same profiles you were trying to run on Trinity .24, then you are NOT using the same profiles. One huge change, meaning until="BountyComplete" was made. Please update your profiles.

I manually downloaded all A4 xml files from the SVN and ALL files are 100% up-to-date. EZUpdater is garbage, I won't use it.

I too have watched the bot avoid those floor grill flames before -(not in the butcher room just randomly around the other levels). waiting or turning around and then when the flames stop turning back again to go past. Seems like something could be tweaked in trinity to stop this behavior -if your toon cant handle a bit of floor flame then you're doing something wrong. bot should just ignore it.

You sure about that? We are at Rev 178. If your Act 4 files do not include until="BountyComplete" in the kill profiles, then you are way out of date.

Look, your profile doesn't work with the new trinity, there have been a ton of people experiencing this. Stop trying to conclude that people are not downloading the correct Revisions. It is happening to people who use EZ Updater and it also happens to me who refreshes the bookmarked SVN portal and manually downloads the A4 links every single time before running the bot.

Your profile is constantly broken with every single revision you do. The best result - use an older trinity and an older revision of your profile. It worked fantastic 3 days ago and if it worked great then with the older trinity, there is absolutely no reason to update it.

I'll keep coming back to see if you are able to get a full bounty profile working. Until then, the older versions will have to suffice. I do thank you very much for writing the Bounty profile, the older versions work fantastic and for that, I am very pleased with your hard work. In the future, it would be nice if you tested your revisions for at least 8 full runs before submitting them to the SVN and causing 30 new thread pages to be created because the profile is broken.

... You do realize that I am not the only one doing updates right? We have at least 3 other people with SVN access, and Rrrix is the one in charge of Trinity.

Also, I am running the bot right now and very rarely encounter problems, and have done far more than 8 full runs without issue. If you want to stick with outdated versions, be my guest.

Just to make sure, when you say you're running the bot without issues, which profile are you running exactly? Do you mean Act 4 profiles? Then I agree, Act 4 profile is generally flawless and that's general consensus.
But Act 1 profile is definitely a different story, and it has numerous issues. So, when you just say you have no problems, generally like that, that is misleading because I'm sure you haven't done 8 full runs of Act 1 profile without issue.

I understand it's frustrating.

One large factor is that the underlying tags we are using to support bounties are being improved as we go both in DemonBuddy itself and in Trinity. As improvements are made we have to upgrade our profiles.

I would consider this a development environment, nobody is saying this is a finished or stable release and i would expect it to break sometimes as bugs are fixed and introduced, its part of the process.

I think it would be a good idea to keep a known stable combination of the bounty profile / trinity as the download package on the first page.

Then if you choose to be part of helping us complete and improve all the acts you can use the SVN and accept the flux that comes with it.

Im just happy you keep developing the profile.
Anyone who have experienced coding to any extend know its very tricky, when the underlaying software gets changed, IE demonbuddy, trinity.
I will keep bounty profile as my go to AFK profile :D

There really isn't a "stable" version though. With updates to DB come changes to how we have to do things. For example, I made no changes to the profiles or the plugin, but DB updated. The caching system was removed in DB, but it introduced memory corruption problems. This caused the profiles to break randomly. There are too many changing variables to keep such a version.

Mine was working perfectly earlier today, just went to use act 4 like I always do, and the bot just quits out telling me to update... WHY

i just want you to know that even though I had my problems with the profile about an or 2 ago, i looked through and did the updating and its working fine now.

thanks so much for putting in the work.
