[Professionbuddy] AHBuddy - Full Auction House Bot

hey zakanator cool profile, u should fix the auctionhouse categories tho, they are not uptodate or wrong , for example SELL ITEM TO AH: REAGENT , theres no reagent category , only in miscellaneous > reagent , or whats also wrong is , CONSUMABLE > CONTAINER , doesnt exist, theres only a CONTAINER not a container in consumable, u should take a look at it pls , would be cool if u could fix these.

i just post these: Sub PostToAh > If Bool settings....sell item to ah

Reagent > ( does not exist ; the right one is Miscellaneous > Reagent )
Projectile > ( does not exist anymore ; dont see it anywhere )
Money > (wth is that :D ? selling my money to ah XD ? )
Quiver > ( does not exist anymore like projectile ; dont see it anywhere )
Key > ( does not exist ; keys are now under consumable > other )

Tradegoods is not uptodate too , has many flaws in the sub categories.

The profile is well thank you but he needs if he wants to post anything close to 10 to 30 minutes until it is purely because it scans the entire auction house like an idiot. I click the X Window auction house, he opens the new auction house and then suddenly there he is pure. Can you stop that?

...or you could do it yourself and upload it for him? Many hands make light work! :)
 
When posting auctions, how does it determine what price to use for things that aren't listed in the XML? For example it bought a Deviate Hatchling for 400g, then reposted it for 10000g. Deviate Hatchling is in the "BuyItemFromAhAction" section, but not in the sell section at all. Where did it get 10000g from?
 
im using your bot, and i ran it to buy some volatiles, mats, and other things, and it wiped all my 32k gold lmao! but thats ok as long as i can make a profit.

My question is, how come it only posts like 52 auctions? my bags are nearly full and i was wondering why it wont post up everything in my bags

It uses the category to pets to sell them

It only posts a certain amount because it would waste a lot time if everything was posted and then undercut constantly.

So this selling everything in bags? And if i have bags full of herb do the bot put them all on ah? Don't won't get caugt for to many auctions.


Edit: Nvm my bad, have read you thread start better now :) But can't find amount of action when i open with notepad. And how its calculate when its cheap or not? Just bought flasks for 2k gold lol. And when the bot put in flaska on ah? When its better price? Blizzard can't get any proofs on this bot right? Beacuse a human like to play on ah can also to this! Thanks for this good shit dude!

Anyone have made an extended item list and lower the price a bit since prices are falling, please pm me :)

Use theunderminejournal to check the prices and change the prices with notepad.

I can't give you mine, because I'm probably on another server.


@ Vladdan: First check xml files, then use. It's risky to do something without knowing what exactly happens.
 
does anyone have a guide to set up the AH bot
i tried it once, and im happy that i only left 5k on the char xD
 
Hi there, I have been using the AH bot happily to sell and undercut my gems/ore/herbs/enchants recently. But now I have got myself into the situation where I have a character with no proffessions and was wondering if you could tell me how to set the bot to play the AH automattically? I.e. scan for low prices Auctions, buy them and re-post them. CAN'T for the life of me, get it to work!

i think how i can edit price i text document but not to add more items. If you are on kazzak (horde) please send me a PM.
 
i love this bot, it's so helpful but i have 1 question. when i start it up, my character runs from the auctioneer to the mailbox then back to the auctioneer about 7 times in a row. and then it stops doing that and only goes to the mailbox when needed. why does it do this when i start it up? it looks extremely obvious that im botting. can i make it only check mail 1 time when it starts?

It should only go to the mailbox once at the start, attach a log with it running to the mail box.
 
Thanks for profile..having soo much fun with this.
Shame somebody has not written plugin for Undermine Journal db ... manually adding static prices in a dynamic economy is its downfall for me. Wish I knew C#, have tried, but too stoopid I guess :)
Anyway just wanted to say thank-you for the effort you have gone to. Really appreciated.

ps only one problem I am having and that is with mailbox .... bot is too fast for the mail system ... eg when checking mail after cancelled auctions, the AH pigeon is still on its way to the mail box when toon checks mail, finds it empty, starts complaining that stuff should be there, then lots of red text about internal mail system errors...that's when I grab the fire extinguisher and stand back from my laptop ready to play fireman :)

Sure would be good if I could load my servers spreadsheet that I dl from TUJ ;)

i've tried this AH bot once before, and lost about 15k in 30 mins xD..

now, is there any way for me to change it so it only buys 5 items, and not just search the entire AH for items listed for lets say.. 30g buyout max?

so let's say i want it to buy:
elementium ore, x G buyout
fel iron ore, x G buyout
Adamanite ore, x G buyout
copper ore, x G buyout

- can i make the bot search for those items ONLY, and then re-post them for let's say.. 10g more?
if so, could anyone tell me how?

Obsidium ore's Min Buyout is set to : MinBuyout="2g0s0c"
But my char is posting them at 21g19s80c
Why ?
