[Professionbuddy] AHBuddy - Full Auction House Bot

Hey , im having problems with the stack size , i have set the stack size to sell at 20 for say ghost iron ore , but then it doesnt post up my ghost iron ore because on the AH the buyout price is lower than myne but thats because its a single piece of ghost iron ore and im selling them at 20 stack size and its comparing my buyout price to a single piece of ore. Im sure im doing something wrong :) any help would be great !



EDIT * i figured it out it is priced on the bot as single items that was my mistake trying to price a stack ! :)

I think that is what he meant. Using external sources for (initial) pricing and keeping a database (or just Datastore) to keep it up to date, like Salesman does.
 
So I just found out this bot, and i'm wondering what do I really have to edit to make it work? Only every part of the profile file with lets say

and what are the recommended settigns for things like StackSize etc, should I edit them also?
 
Ok I'm really confused now. It's constantly posting items at X price, checking the AH to see if anybody uncuts it (nobody did), cancels my auctions anyway and then reposts it at the exact same price. It's happened for Green Tea Leaves, Ghost Iron Ores, and Silkweed.

Here's my code for Green Tea:

I have my other two set up the same way, ignoring stack sizes below 20.

Here's an example of what it says in the log:

AHBuddy: Checking for new mail.
AHBuddy: Checking for undercut auctions.
AHBuddy: Posting items to the AH.
PB 1.617: Selling Silkweed for 2g35s28c. Competition is at 2g35s29c
PB 1.617: Selling Green Tea Leaf for 2g0s0c. Competition is at 50g0s0c
AHBuddy: Checking for new mail.

PB 1.617: Canceled Green Tea Leaf x20
AHBuddy: Posting items to the AH.

Please help I don't know what to do. I've tried saving the settings and loading it, I've tried restarting WoW, HB, logging onto a different toon for a little bit.

AHBuddy: Scanning auctions for Enchanting materials to buy.
AHBuddy: Scanning auctions for uncut Pandarian Gems to buy.
AHBuddy: Scanning auctions for cut Pandarian Gems to buy.
AHBuddy: Scanning auctions for Cloth to buy.
AHBuddy: Posting items to the AH.
AHBuddy: Checking for undercut auctions.
AHBuddy: Scanning auctions for herbs to buy."

It just loops around but never buys anything, please help-
 
Im having some trouble getting the bot to go to the GuildBank in Undercity as i dont want anything mailed to the character directly. Is there any options to choose what items i want withdrawn from Guild bank ? and how do i even get the toon to go there it doesnt seem to want to do anything else except go from mailbox to the ah.

You need to update to the latest revision. IgnoreStackSizeBelow was changed to 1 for all items months ago.

You'll have to edit the profile with a text editor or with professionbuddy gui to change what items are used with the guild bank. Post a log with the issue of it not using the guild bank.

Change the buyout for any item you want to buy that starts with the line BuyItemFromAhAction. No, there isn't a way to use auctioneer prices.
 
Having trouble lately with using my bot to make money. Can you point me to a decent guide on making money with something like this? How do you do it in general?
 
Hi there, i have some problem for start this bot, i'm on it since 2-3days.

I don't understand how the script could work, i paste it in a .txt doc and start lunching it with ProfessionBuddy, but it says that he have an error on line 1920.

I doesn't modificate him and just start it like all the profile i use on gatherer. I just change for .xml.

Anybody can help me ? Thanks !
 
Dont need to do any of that, load it like any other profile, start prefbuddy, and let it goto work.
