Process must have frozen or gotten out of sync

I get the same error trying to start my demonbuddy. I haven't used this program in many months, so I'm assuming things are different now. I performed a fresh install (this is my third fresh install so far), updated Trinity to the latest version, restarted my PC, updated Windows 10. This program has always worked after I do all of these steps, but this time it won't start, and I also can't open my Trinity configuration tab. Here's the error I receive when I press start on Demonbuddy:
