Problem with C++

Hi all i have a problem.
A couple of days ago there was a mini patch of d3 and after it my DB doesnt run anymore.
When i run it then appear a window saying: This application requires one of the following versions of the VIsual C++ Redistributable Package for: Visual Studio 2015 Update 1x86, VC++ 14.0
Do you want to download this Visual C++ Redistributable Package now ?
Note: You must download and install the x86 version regardless of your operating system

But when i click on YES then nothing happens.
How can i fix this problem ?

Download it via link in the realease thread maybe? Is that hard to just read simple instructions?
 
I don't know what I'm doing wrong but i have uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired, turned on and off my computer, installed older versions and I can't seem to get it to work at all it just keeps giving the same error every time i try to open HB
 
My windows update cant update my pc.
Windows update stops at 19% and then error 80073701 comes. I tried to fix it but i dont know why i cant download the Service Pack 1 on my pc.
Help :\
 
Just as i got everything working for me the same issue happened. error popped up just a bit ago and i did all the above, uninstall reinstall all the frameworks and stuff and db and still nothing ;(
 
Yes...same here too.....installed the framework , repaired, uninstalled and reinstalled with restarts and still no go. And yes we can read...... installing software was never a problem til now.
 
Yeah I tried BuddyWizard but.....problem still persist....

@Cody, These are all the steps i took to get it to work agian.

First i backed up the whole DB Folder for all my settings by zipping it or putting it somewhere else. Then deleted anything left there.

Uninstalled C++X86 and X64 and .NET v4.6.1 and Demonbuddy, Did a full windows update. Restarted. Installed .net v4.6.1 then first x86 then x64 then buddywizard then demonbuddy. i restarted my computer after i think the .net reinstall.

I also did a system restore to two days ago but i dont think that has anything to do with it because it failed each time i tried to do it =/.
 
The first time I installed from the link it still said I was missing something...

So I went to the Microsoft site and downloaded the 4.6 .net Framework.

Still wouldn't work. I tried to install the link of 4.6.1 again, and it worked after that.

In short: Downloaded the 4.6 framework and installed, then installed the 4.61 from the link. No idea why, but that seemed to fix it.
 
follow the instructions given on release threads and if you still got issues open your own thread under support issues section
