Hey,

I already posted my problem with Archeology in the Archeology post, however, I am searching for some more clarification on the subject, and I did not want to spam the original post with it.

To sum up real quick what the problem is: I can load just fine, and the bot finds the digsites easily, however, when it gets to the digsites, the character will stop moving for a while, and then randomly mount up, fly 5y, unmount, solve, mount up and fly the opposite direction of where the solve shows. Then it unmounts again, just to repeat the abovementioned actions.

I've tried to reinstall HB, which did not help. I've tried to do it with and without addons. What really puzzled me tho were that when trying to make it work at my brothers computer, which is located like 150km from my place, the exact same thing occured. It should be mentioned that I bought HB yesterday, where i ran it for a good 7 hours or so, all which worked flawlessly. Then suddenly, it started to act strange, as mentioned.

This made me ponder: Is HB, with all its settings etc. saved by profile? meaning, no matter which HB I use, and no matter where I log in, then potential problems would be the same as it is loaded accordingly to my last login? If so, can an account be reset in order to make Archeology work again? If not, any ideas as to what could be the problem? I need mah staff!? :D

In advantage, thanks a lot, and sorry for making a new post about this; As stated, I would not over float the general topic with my status reports.

Also, a log:

I had the same exact weird behavior but here is what I did to make the bot work crisp, he has been going 28hours straight now with very little trouble.

1) If you haven't restarted your WoW client, do so.
2) Re download the newest HB
3) Clear your mesh folder(This is probably what fixed it) - (If you defined it yourself you can find it where ever you defined it. Otherwise look in C:\Users\Default\AppData

Thanks for the quick response. I'm sorry if my post did not make that clear, but I have tried all of your 3 steps, without any luck. Furthermore, a clean install on my brothers computer caused the exact same problem.

Are you using a default class or custom class. In the case for me on my warrior Ensemble would override some of the pathing behaviors post combat which was odd. Where as with the default class movement was just fine.

I used the Shadowpriest profile, which worked flawless, up until the "problem". After this. after i reinstalled, I've used both the default settings and the profile, with same result.

Seems like alot of people have had this problem recently, and i don't think there is any solution at this point until a dev get a notice about it, or maybe they do know it by now and it would be fixed in the next release.

It is attached at my first post :) However, here is the part of the log where it seems to go wrong:

thx for reporting

I stand in awe of your wisdom! That did the trick :D Thanks so much. When knowing that was the problem, I guess I should have noticed that, but *shrug*, not good with logs I suppose. Again thanks! :)

A quick bonus question then: Shouldn't the bot be able to repair itself? It did point out the NPC closest to the spot where i started, but it was apparently unable to get there, which is what caused it. The "funny" thing is, I was not even close to having my gear go red. It was like 70/80'ish.

It's repair logic bug, i think it will be fixed in next release.
