Prioritize Pickup items first before continuing to fight

Hello everyone,

Is there any way to force Trinity to prioritize picking up dropped items first before continuing to fight again? It tends to keep fighting until it is too far away to pick up the dropped items.
I tried lowering the "trigger trash and elite combat" range to the lowest setting in an attempt to fix it but it doesn't help. Anyone have anything in mind?

What type of items are you trying to pickup? Progression globes? gold?

What build are you using?

Anything from mats to legendaries to progression globes. I set Trinity to ignore gold.
An r6 monk build. I apologize, I should have stated that in the first place hah. The build revolves around dashing strike, so before the items have a chance of dropping, the bot already jumps to the next room and forget about the items that drop.
Sadly, it sometimes misses drops from a rift guardian.

Edit: It's probably important to note that I set the TPS to 30. Is it too high? If I lower that, it should give ample time for the items to drop in between ticks and for Trinity to detect it. I feel that that it is a workaround, however, as sometimes the items drop very closely and yet the bot continues to fight and ignores it (eventually just forgetting about it). I would love to have the bot stop fighting to pick up the items before going back to kickin' ass.

TPS 30 is what you want for a Dashing Strike monk.

Unfortunately I know your pain. Dashing monk is still my favorite utility build in the game and it has some issues.

I frequently watch the bot come all the way back for most legendaries and certain mats. However, if you are rifting or doing a bounty, the bot may rush across a map and you will complete the objective only to see the bot switch gears and leave the map rather than backtrack.

Probably the worst issue I have seen is leaving progression globes in Greater Rifts. It happens even with a Uliana monk due to Dashing towards another target after an elite kill. For now, I wouldn't worry about it as there is no setting you can change to fix it.

Anywho,

I posted a monk build for speed runs. I'm smashing through T7 rifts and bounties using it at the moment.

MONK 2.3 Speed Farm Build

I was actually running a variation of that build, which was the one that prompted me to ask about it!
It's a great, fun build since 2.3 but of course it's hard to bot with.

Also, the new Trinity update just added a DS delay. I'll play and tweak it around to see if I can find a sweet spot.

Cheers, mate!
