No this CR's dps rotation is horrible and wrong.
It's not optimal, and i'm not sure how difficult it would be to actually make an optimal rotation.. I guess with Millz coding skills, it shouldnt be that hard.. if you put in some effort.
But this is FAR better than Kingwow2, in comparison.. Kingwow2 is utter trash.. not even worth 1$
while, millz is somewhat Ok, for now atleast.. i hope he will fine-tune it to do 100% optimal dps rotations.
When you're going above 20k dps, which is standard for spriest, it becomes very gear dependant, classes scale differently, so you can't compare your dps with, lets say.. Ret palas, who are scaling worse with gear, but do great dps with minimal gear.. Spriest will do super well once BRF hits.

Insanity is tuned pretty highly. I'm aware of numerous people achieving high WoL rankings with it. There's 3 rotations to choose from when using CoP, which are fight specific.
If you want the best from Insanity you need to know how to play priests, and what the best spec/build/rotations is correct for each fight. HowToPriest.com ? Index page is a great site for information.

Did you edit the simulation craft action list to match the raid conditions?
Simcraft values are based upon absolutely perfect conditions - unless you heavily edit the settings/action list you won't get accurate results.

If you post a log file I can take a look to see if there's anything obvious in there.
Not sure how people are getting bad dps I'm at 661 ilv pulling 30k plus on some fights and 20k+ on moven fights. just change between dotweaving and standard cop depending on the boss fight. Raid buffed I'm at 63% mastery 16% haste and 13% crit
Yeah I don't think people realize that GCDs are important for shadow and that they probably aren't even optimized properly. You can't just throw on whatever is the highest ilvl and call it a day.
Ran heroic last night at 660 pulling 26-30 and 23-25 on high movement. This is WITHOUT on use trinkets and using a cheap vers 645 wep.
You need to know which talents are used on which bosses, etc.

hey millz can u give shadow word pain more priorty over mind blast while questing because sometimes when you cast mind blast and there is another guy in the area he just steals the mob if you dot the mob you wil be quicker and the other guy can not steal you quest mob?

Hey guys, regarding changing the talents and COP standard vs. dot weaving is it possible to get a discussion / list going to confirm what is best for each fight, or at least what Millsz recommends we use.
I'm not asking to be completely spoon fed the settings and want to do my own testing but thought it would be better if we could all share and discuss to remove any confusion.

Alright, Millz.
It's been about 3 weeks since your last revision to this CC. Everything i mentioned before this post a few weeks ago is obviously still wrong and needs fixing. It feels to me as though you just pumped this routine out as fast as you could, and have no intention of updating it further. To be honest telling us to CHECK OUT HOWTOPRIEST.COM is a bit insulting for those of us who paid for your CC. You would never find that elsewhere... It's like going to a restaurant and being told to get your cutlery from another restaurant across the street.
You have flaws in your rotation priorities... Ones that are cutting DPS for no real reason other than the author of the CC cannot be bothered to adjust a few things.. This is in regards to the PAID ROUTINE, we expect the thing to at least have revisions made to it.
1. SWP/sometimes VT is left up because we have switched back to the original target, because when we manually switch targets the first thing the CC does is multidot the boss (or whatever you switched from.) That's all good, however when we switch back to the target the CC just multi-dotted The bot just stands there and waits for SWP to tick off. Then continues... Not exactly an optimal trigger is it? This should automatically tell the bot that we are NOT IN DOTWEAVE PHASE simply based on the number of orbs we currently have, but instead it sits and does nothing without manual intervention from myself, or waiting for a dot to tick off which is essentially anywhere from 5-12 seconds of my toon just drooling. It nees to cast Mind spike and continue the original rotation until we reach 4 orbs again! How is this still an issue 3 weeks later? I feel this has been explained by myself (someone who mains a shadow priest every single day) thoroughly enough for you to take action towards it. It's a frustrating flaw.
2. After 4 Shadow orbs are up, It casts SWP after 1 mind spike (This is correct so far) after that it casts VT 2x then BLOWS DP THEN BLOWS MIND BLAST? Why on earth would you ever blow your DP before MB? and why would you fill anything with a RECAST? use regular mindflay, use SWD (if glyphed) You piss away more than half the insanity possibility every first DP usage in the beginning of dotweave phase. Now if you look at your Bots DPS breakdowns and compare then with the top parsing shadow priest, insanity is cast much more. This is likely a huge contributing factor to that.
3. Power Word shield when moving has priotity over EVERYTHING. Mindblast, Shadow Word Death Even! If my target is under 20%, I do not need a shield, i need to blow my SWD. SWD should always take priotity, every. single. time. This is particularly agrivating on Imperator when you move from a mine and the add dies in execute phase, i don't get any SWD off, i lose orbs, i lose DPS. For a shield cast....
I'm not trying to rip you a new one, this isn't personal. I paid for a CC with optimal settings, this said it was optimal. However it is now.
And I am really trying to help you understand where the problems are in bold etc (not because i think you're dumb, you wrote this, you're very smart obviously, but because I don't think you play a shadow priest, or use this CC enough to be able to get it 100% right)
Please, do not ask me to check out howtopriest anymore. What I have said above will increase your CCs dps by a considerable amount. Those things I have listed above. Mainly 1/2 are the reasons i can manually outDPS your CC by 2-3k
BTW - 670 shadow priest 6.5k spellpower raid buffed 20multi 15% haste/Crit and 55% mastery
DPS with CC (yes i have used virtually every setting) 27k on Butcher
DPS manually (basically the rotation prios I gave you) 30.1k From 100% to 0% I maintain an average of 2.3k Above your CC and your CC blows cooldowns and trinkets a hell of a lot more effectively than I do.
This is extensive testing i have done on my side. This is not one or two runs, I have cleared HC HM over 6 times using your CC VS My own manual rotation.
I'd give you an armory but, you know.. Hope this input helps. I don't see anyone else really saying anything more useful than 'IT NOT WORK"

You're right, it has been nearly 3 weeks, but let's not forget it was the Christmas/New Years holiday season, of which I've been busy in my personal life, and then playing catch up to the vast amount of PM's and forum posts so haven't had time to provide updates as frequently as normal. Insinuating that I've no intentions of updating the routine, or can't be bothered to do so (despite it being in existence since October 2013 with frequent updates) is completely untrue.
On to the issues..
1) First time this has been reported. A log file would help with this, but I've got a good idea what's causing it - will take a look.
2) 2x VT is a bug, but it's very difficult to fix. It occurs because the routine attempts to queue up the next spell by clipping latency, before the VT debuff has been applied from the last spell. It's a very fine balancing act to make the routine not attempt to cast so frequent to double cast, but to also attempt to queue the spell up fast enough to not have a long period without the debuff being applied at all. DP/MB could just be because of the MB cooldown expiring ever so slightly too late, but I'll add a check in for it.
3) This is pretty easy to change, just need to split the conditions for moving and low HP. Will change this.

Will try to get a log for you but will not be playing for a day or so. Again nothing personal, i just know the routine can be a lot better, i didn't take the holidays into consideration. That's my fault totally. Do let me know how you go with the issues and if you still need a log tomorrow let me know. Or perhaps someone else on here can give you one in the meantime.

Millz when you look at this can you check to see if it is looking at the options. In other words when I have cast PW:S in combat UNCHECKED it is still casting it for some reason. It's not a huge deal but there is one fight I don't want to cast it due to mana issues.
