Someone has uploaded what looks like nubcake18's settings (possibly nubcake18 himself?). Just approved them this morning, so available for download now.

I actually uploaded them, since people were asking for settings. Hope Nubcake isn't mad... :)
 
Hey Millz and peeps ... i'm pretty new to shadow priest and i bought this CR .. what i'm wondering .. what rotation in CoP would be the best for me? don't have any tier items or specific trinkets...

CoP Lite = normal shadow rotation but takes advantage of MB being instant and having a 3s CD. Can multidot around all units as normal. Nice and versatile because you can switch targets without incurring a penalty like CoP Standard.

CoP Standard = how CoP was designed to be played, using Mind Spike as the filler instead of Mind Flay. MS removes dots cast on units though, so the rotation will only DoT units we aren't targeting. If you then switch targets to a unit that you've dotted, you're basically losing DPS because Mind Spike will remove those DoTs. Better DPS than CoP Lite but you need to be more mindful of what you're doing.

CoP DoTWeave(s) = need the Insanity talent too, weaves dots around Devouring Plague usage. Best DPS but suffers a lot from moving at the wrong time and switching targets. Requires a lot more concentration on what's happening. Consider it an expert mode.

Thanks a lot, just the explanation i needed :D .. so far i've played with the dotweaving (new) and doing pretty good ~35-45k (ilvl 685+)... but without the insanity talent .. so maybe i should try the insanity talent :D

btw, what's the diff between new and old dotweaving? haven't been able to read that (or i'm blind) :D

It just changes the sequence as to when to cast the dots.
 
Millz, I am having some framerate issues when using the rotations (demonic and Insanity). My framerate drops tremendously as soon as i enter combat. I never really had this issue with your rotations until the new UI was released. The first one is from raid tonight which is where i noticed most of my lag. the next 2 are just logs to compare if you notice anything differently because if i recall i didnt lag with those 2 logs. The last one is PVP with shadow priest which frame rate goes from 80 to 20 then fluctuates between 30-15 during combat.

Yeah I'm aware of the FPS issues. Spent the past few days working on it. New builds will be pushed soon to resolve :)

oh had written a post about the framerate drop, but see your alrdy aware :)

Ive fixed the FPS issues on my copy, virtually no drops at all now. I'm in the process of rewriting the core of the rotation though from the old tree sharp to coroutines. Fixed some bugs and added features along the way. It'll take me a while to finish that off, so I think I'll test what I've done so far and push an update, then finish it off for the next update - that way people aren't waiting around too long for the FPS fix.

All going to plan, I hope to push the new build today.

- Added option to use Dispel Magic on target (including PvE situations).
- Re-write to coroutines (~70% complete). Changes along the way;
* Bug fix: Potion usage on Vampiric Embrace.
* Improved Levitate on falling logic.
* Resolved an infrequent bug where '[Hotkey] Mass Dispel' would spam try to cast.
- Performance tuning to improve FPS drops;
* Scanning units (ObjectManager) - 96% performance improvement.
* Reduced the periodicity of time to death tracking globally, rather than per unit - 98% performance improvement.
* Removed some aura caching which was, in some cases, resolving slower than non-cached methods.

Hey Millz, I have 1 request which should be easy when you get around to it... Resizing the gui when you open it, seems to open alot larger then needs to be vs demonic. But overall seems to be working well and I do notice a FPS increase with the changes made recently.

Yeah will do, be done in the next build.

- Fixed a bug where we would sometimes cast on units with a 'dont attack' aura - such as Fel Barrier on Soul of Socrethar.
- Enabling/Disabling Overlay no longer requires restarting Honorbuddy.

first of all i love your routines but i have a little problem with the shadow priest rotation.
With the feather talent the routine makes the feather and everything is fine but sometimes (like 25% chance) the routine makes a second feather but without placing so you can not use tab to target next player (i have to esc or right mouse to make it dissapear). I disabled cast feather on foces and i dont have a focus target so i dont get it why it trys to make a second feather when its not needed cause i have the buff allready. And in combat its not using feather ever (tested in lfr) whats a big problem cause its absolutly high priority when i move.

Could you pls check that ? I can make a fresh log if you need one to see whats happening. Maybe its a problem on my end

Just so I understand the issue, it's casting feather -> green targeting icon up -> place on ground -> cast spell a second time -> green targeting icon up - and it's hanging here with the targeting icon visible?

exactly - its double casting i suppose and thats really annoying while farming as i want to tab to the next target and its not doing this xD i make fresh log tonight and will upload it for you

ok i made a fresh short logfile just starting combat on an enemy which is pretty much a 3 cast death mob but i walked like 10seconds to show you its not casting the feather
