I don't know if the latest update was supposed to fix the problem with toons mounting between looting corpses that are right on top of each other but it seems to be a lot better based on my quick observations. It will still loot between corpses every once in a while but very rarely.. certainly manageable. I did notice something else happening just now, though.

Bug report:

What is your toon's class? [Druid, Paladin, Warlock, etc]

Warlock

What is your toon's race? [Troll, Orc, Human, etc]

Gnome

What CC were you using?

skiwarlock

What profile were you using?

68-80 Northrend

List any plugins you were using:

eRefreshment
eStat
eTalent
eTrain (disabled)
Mr. AutoFight (disabled)
AutoEquip
EspChatLog

What area did the bug occur in (Please be as specific as possible. Use the minimap's area text for the current area)?

Didn't think to check.. I just stopped and restarted the bot

What was your toon's position when the bug occurred (X, Y, Z coordinates)?

Didn't look

What type of bug are you reporting? (Crash, Navigation, quest bug, 'can't make up your mind', etc)

"can't make up your mind"

What was the bot's current action? (Check your logs)

See log

Explain the bug in as much detail as you can:

The bot couldn't decide which mob to loot.. just kept running back and forth in circles between two corpses

Steps to reproduce the above bug:

(this is theory only, I haven't tried) Stand exactly halfway between two lootable corpses

Attach your log file(s)
Attach any crash report(s) [These may be the WoW crash dump, or simply a .NET exception]

Anything else the dev team should know?

I noticed that the distances between the two lootable mobs were 16 and 18. The bot would move toward the mob that was 18 (feet?) away until the first corpse (that was originally 16 feet away) became 18 feet away. That all sounds confusing but if I was able to make a log of the loot list it would look like this:

Loot List

Mob 1 Dist: 18
Mob 2 Dist : 16 (bot heads towards Mob 1)

Mob 1 Dist: 16
Mob 2 Dist: 18 (bot turns around, heads towards Mob 2)

Mob 1 Dist: 18
Mob 2 Dist : 16 (bot turns around, heads towards Mob 1)

Mob 1 Dist: 16
Mob 2 Dist: 18 (bot turns around, heads towards Mob 2)

Sorry if thats confusing.. I'm just trying to be as detailed as possible. If something isn't clear, let me know. If this only happens when two corpses are exactly the same distance from the bot it will probably be a very rare occurance. On the other hand it will be very obvious there isn't a player at the computer when a character is running in circles for hours on end.

EDIT - I am watching the bot as I type this and it just did it again, only this time it couldn't figure out which of two mobs (that were the same distance from the toon but in opposite directions) it wanted to attack and just ran back and forth for a little while. It finally settled on something to attack when one of the mobs moved.
