posting around 200 posts a night of raw goods mean high probablity of ban?

I respect you saying that Kick, but my experience has just shown otherwise. Everyone has to do what makes them feel safe.
You have also been doing this for a very long time, and most likely worked into having such a high number.
If an account goes straight from 1-85, and starts posting 200+ auctions of raw mats a day, it's kind of a reason to have a deeper look at the account.

And also, it was stated that the number goes up if you have an active raider on the account. This most likely adjusts with age of account, number of toons above 80, etc...

to all those who are like "I post 4k auctions" etc, i'm not saying OMG UR GONNA GET BANNED.

No.

However, it does put your toon(s) on the watch list of warden, to which it starts watching you for botting.
(Even at this point, you may never get caught, but it submits toons / accounts on to a list to which GMs review activity over 2 months to whether or not they should suspend / inspect further)

Usually, this leads to nothing unless it's blatantly obvious (30 hours straight in uldum with same pathing, getting stuck on a tree for 6 hours, etc)

It works kind of like this. The base auctions / day is 20. IF you post 200, it'll check into you and suspect you for botting. If you manage to not get caught, it builds precedence. If you continue to post 200 / day it shows you have a history of doing so, and when it goes into the GM review stage they'll see that and pass it on as normal activity.

If you're an active raider on the account that you're posting auctions on, it also put into the "this guy raids, likely isnt a botter"

All speculation and conjecture. My botting accounts usually have 1 level 85 and 1 level 1 auction person. All materials get mailed from the level 85 farmer to the level 1 via in-game mail and periodically I post all the auctions using the level 1 character. When I do this it could be as many as 30-100 mails each with the maximum stacks per mail. I then post everything I've got.

I don't waste time making items because I don't care about maximizing profits. All I care about is simple skimming money off the top.

As I've stated before I've been doing this for a long time and the ONLY accounts that have ever been banned have been accounts that I had recently (3-4 days) sold gold from and it was always to one of the bigger sites. The only other account besides that was banned for LUANINJA back in the day.

So if this puts me on some kind of watchlist then no one is bothering to read the list because I should have been banned ages ago. Do whatever makes you be able to sleep at night, but as I've always believed never gamble with anything you're not willing to lose. I'm not afraid of Blizzard...you can see my admitted botting posts on MMO-C.

*edit* Oh I forgot I don't use Jaerin here, I use Jaerin over on MMO-C. I'm Jaerin on US-Area52 too. If they want to ban me go right ahead.

Take what i say as you wish, i'm just relaying on the information i was told by my friend who wrote the warden.

Of course you do, everyone has a friend in Blizzard that has written the security code for one of the biggest games in history and they are willing to risk their job by talking to you. Not to mention you bragging about the fact that you are so easily willing to break that trust by blabbing your mouth here. It just makes you look ignorant. You can't give anything more than hearsay anecdotal evidence anymore than I can, but the difference is I'm not trying to mislead people into thinking that they will or will not be safe using the auction house.

I've posted well over 500+ stacks on a single auction alt every day for weeks at a time and not been banned, so I doubt warden started tracking me after 20 auctions. That's garbage imo.

Meh I have 7 IRL friends that are GM's in Austin, Texas. And they have told me everything. They know I bot and really could care less. They tell me what blizzard does to catch botters and so on. But I would never post that here. Since I would rather them not change there methods of catching botters by me telling everyone. I also would never risk there jobs. So IMO I think this kid is full of shit. But hey, Thats just me. And by telling people what what your "friend" at blizzard told you in trust. You would just be a bad friend.

And the only reason I bot. Is to make a little money since I live on disability and can't afford much and my friends know that. And thats the reason they don't care that I bot and sell gold.
