Post mini patch 70 GRIFT Wiz build.

So this is my first time really posting on here but with all the issues with DMO and general slowness now I wanted to throw this build in here. I am by no means a professional just found that a derivative of flash fire is working for me at level 70 Grift with 97B/hr exp. Paragon is 850. What i am running is basically Quin69s Flash fire wizard with a few modifications.

all I have done is flipped the gems out. Currently using:

Bane of Trapped, Bane of the Stricken and Esoteric

Gear changes are firelord gloves instead of tal rasha, and tal rasha belt instead of gold wrap. Also I am rocking a orb of infiinte depth for the DR.

Finally in replacement of the warzechian armguards i have an Aquila.

Hope that helps people, no adjustment at all to the profile... same as it came out of the box..

I realized I forgot to say i am also using ancient parthan's as well. the teleport stun goes off alot with the bot flying around.

I have to wear the gloves and tal rasha belt as I am trying to get 4 piece firelords and get 6 piece tal rasha. With losing the off hand tal rash for the orb it's a must. So it's fire shoulder glove and boots. Orb off hand and talk rash everything else.
 
Have you tried taeguk? Most of them are quick kill so stricken wont good that good but if you can speam taeguk you deal more damage especially if in-geom is on
 
I am also using Nilfur boast in the cube for dps. I guess Aquila is fine but i found my wiz not at at 90% resource sometime. You gave up nemesis for extra defense, is that worth it?
 
I honestly just grabbed this once to see what i could run and never really tweaked it. Taeguk is likely a great idea but mine isnt leveled as of yet. ( currently working it up) Without the extra defense I would die more often but its still doable. Nilfur could be alot of dps ... but I find that i am at 90% often ... especially when i first port into mobs. Frankily my gear is nto optimal yet so i am likely needing to ***** on defense until i can squeeze out more dps but I do like the nilfurs idea.
 
I see, fair enough. Im currently running 62 , 80bph finish in 5 mins average. All ancients, not optimal and havent added the gem into them yet. I was thinking of using Ashnagar blood bracer
 
I always have mine set to 5. I have no idea why. Someone here a long time ago recommended it and I never changed it
 
7 to 10 minutes depending. I have a big problem with stoneslinger one shotting me

i just made the switches you made from the original FF build. but im in a rough 65 right now. my Esoteric isnt leveled up yet, hopefully thats why.
 
Cool play with it some, I am by no means an expert. I believe this certainly can be perfected by others on here but it's nice leveling for gems and such. My goal is to get a bunch of gems up to 70 for gear, will have just a few group runs to max out gems
