Possibly porting over my Gatherbot - No waypoints needed Thoughts?

we def still after loggers tho, but u needa jump in mirc so i can question u etc. mirc is great when u have a small community helping out with little things.

generating waypoints,
everything is looking good.

just starting to input the Navigation stuff into the project,
I.E detect if a node is underground, Get fly height etc.

www.wowgather.com have a look at our DB now for nodes.
really filling up decently.

we could still do with a couple more loggers.
if you would like to help contribute by collecting nodes ( just by using gather buddy )
you can have a slice of the beta :)

just jump in MIRC :) #WoWGather
 
This looks promising - I'd like to help out even if its just filling out the DB. Ill check irc every once in a while and see if I can catch you guys in there.
 
We should have a public beta release this week​

( im really eager to get a beta public )
and i feel like im losing support and intrest and its slowly making me not want to complete it!
so im pushing it out to get some intrest again etc and get me motivated again

There will still be ALOT of major issues with things,
as im just putting everything together now upto global underground blacklist

Tommorow and upto weekend ill be aiming at putting everything together for a beta.

So stay tuned.

Hey guys,

Just finished coding in Height Checker ( to see if there is a mountain in way. etc )

all that is needed to do now is make it export as XML.

Then its time for a Public Beta Release on the weekend.

then it will be time to add features slowly.

We will be releasing a public beta shortly.

every one in the Alpha says its generating PERFECT waypoints.

As you can see it even checks torain height incase of cliffs etc

Correct me if i'm wrong, but the public beta is of the MapGen?

Also, the WoWGather, what botbase is that going to work with?

The MapGen isnt public beta yet ( still private so alpha kinda ). it will become public this weekend.
The WoWGather im not to sure yet what im doing about that, atm im generating profiles for GatherBuddy2
 
amazing work swiny and everyone in the irc chan!

ran a uldum profile i made myself and jimmys 15mil tsp profile for twilight highlands and woke up to full packs on both toons!!!

not at the moment, but it is a high priority list of still to do :)

Kinda. I have been beta testing for a while now and I will tell you this. What is being released by SwInY this week will not support multizone gathering. However I do believe that he dose have plans for something that will multizone.

Please keep the questions coming and us beta testers will answer to the best of our abilities.
