Possible trap for players

Inside of the tower of Honor Stand, there is a Sunscale Raptor that is under the tower. I caught my bot targeting it and trying to attack it. It was running into the walls and circling very frantically. It would be quite obvious to anyone around that this was not the behavior of a person lol.


So if you're around 30 and your bot is leveling through this area, keep and eye out for that tower. Your bot will go inside the tower for the quest Warriors' Redemption.
 
i never have had any issues over there. its not a trap you just got stuck there that doesend mean all other wil get stuck there.
 
Stuff like this happens all the time--mobs spawn in or path to weird spots (a particular wretched in Eversong Woods, a mob by the big tortoise guy in Hyjal...). This is why we monitor bots when we quest.

Hence the title being possible. Learn to read before you try and discredit something I wasn't implying.

Again, that's why I said possible. The entire reason I made this post is because I was watching the bot and noticed it. I've read many times on the forums people believe GM's will glitch mobs in order to catch people that are botting. So I thought what the hell, I'll let people know it could POSSIBLY be a trap.
 
I wasn't trying to discredit what you're saying, just pointing out that there are lots of glitched-mob-areas, and it isn't isolated to around this level/area. Constant vigilance!! :)
 
Ive watched my bot almost 100% from 1-89, patch hit so waiting for update to get 90. But at many points ive seen the same thing and quickly turn it off and manually finish the quest etc. I've had people follow me and ill turn it off and use a emote and jump with them, its been a druid 3 times different names, I'm almost sure its been devs watching because of a previous action. So far no ban tho.

Hi, Honors,

Aye, the 'bugged' Sunscale Screecher is new with a recent patch. The curious thing is it apparently is embedded in the wall/floor on all servers.

The fact that you got hung up here tells me you don't have your quest behaviors up-to-date from those provided in Kick's repository. If you keep your behaviors updated, you should be fine.
