Possible to get refund/win PayPal dispute after ban?

exactly just like someone else said just cause it says taht a blizzard employee can come to your house and rape you in the ass with a chainsaw in the elua that you agreed to doesnt mean they acutally can do it. Just cause they say things in the elua and we are forced to accept them doesnt mean they are legal for them to do. or make them legal binding.

They can! Haven't you seen the South Park episode: The Human Centipad?

do i have to YET AGAIN link the case that already SAYS that the ingame EULA TOS that you are force to agree to after buying the GAME ARE NOT legal binding. You can already sell your account be cause you own it. there is nothing blizzard can do to ban you even though it says in there elua that its against the rules. because the EULA isnt legal binding. This has already been founded in courts in teh EU. Its only matter of time till it applies to IMPUT METHOD.

What point are you trying to make here? Everyone who purchases the game has a right to fair enjoyment; the EULA/TOS is written to accomplish that. Similar to if you rent housing, you have a right to quiet enjoyment. Your actions negatively impact other players, so in order for them to enjoy a product they've purchased; to be used for its intended purpose, you (the violator) has to be removed.

Criminals > Removed from society
Loud tenants > Evicted
Overly drunk at a bar/strip club > Kicked out
Smoking where its not permitted > You'll be asked to leave

Who is forcing you to accept their TOS? You choose to accept the EULA in order to play the game. If you don't agree with the TOS/EULA, return the game to the store; how much simpler does one have to explain for you to understand?

Learn how to play devils advocate, but if you truly believe the sad logic you continue to write... let me know when your mom dies so I can take a shit on her grave for having such a dumb fucking kid.

As far as I know you can not return any opened software or video games in most cases; so if you open install and don't agree you are screwed.

Digital copy MAYBE phone support will help you if you refuse the Eula/tos.

That is all I have to say really; you're screwed if you buy the game but refuse to accept the Eula/tos. In my personal opinion that is entrapment.

also, doing a dispute on something you agree to accept and then violate is dishonest at best and stealing at worst; to each his own

If you bought the game from a store and you have a receipt, you can't get a refund, BUT you could probably EXCHANGE the game for another copy. If you tell them it didn't have a serial code or the disc was scratched or didn't work, etc...

If you bought it online for digital download, you are pretty much on your own.

Either way, you knew the risks of botting just like we all did. If you get banned it's your fault and no one elses. If you lost the game because of your own actions it isn't really right for you to try to get a refund.

I played the game several times over and into Inferno mode to get the full gameplay out of it before i started botting. This way, if I ever do get banned it's not like I didn't get to play the game. I do feel like I've gotten my money's worth out of it. I've also made about $200 from the RMAH, so that would more than pay for a new copy if I wanted

Yeah, typically you can't return a game once opened. Even though I think he's lying about the box not having a URL to view the EULA/TOS online, if it truly didn't; and disputed in a reasonable amount of time (1-2 days) the store would possibly (or have to) give a refund/in-store credit.

If you want to be investigated for fraud after a charge-back, go for it, but I really don't believe $60 is worth a felony. "Reason" goes far in law, and it's unreasonable to believe you're entitled to a refund after so many days of enjoying a product and using said product in a disruptive manner to other people.

It also costs your bank probably $150/hr to pay their lawyer to do the necessary paperwork to take you to court (which costs them $1000's). In addition, to take your case to the police (or FBI) they'd have to have PROOF that your claim isn't justified. If you chargeback the $60 from paypal and say your wife/brother/mother/sister/son/daughter used your account (which is a legitimate reason to chargeback on Paypal), or for your bank... that you didn't receive the item you paid for and Blizzard wouldn't fix it, then they can't prove that didn't happen.

They're not that retarded.

Of course hes lying because the box inside the CE box is the same one as everyone else got that didn't buy CE. This idiot should look up pictures of it before he claims its not on there we can prove it is.

Fraud is a criminal offense; after the bank does an internal investigation, they'll make a police report and contact the district attorney (costing the bank nothing). All disputes are scrutinized; if you claim someone took your credit card and used it without your authorization, that's considered theft and they'll request you file a police report. If you could file a dispute without consequence, I'd do it every-time I went grocery shopping.

Of course everything is at the discretion of the claims center, but is $60 worth it?

This game wouldn't be popular without bot, Blizzard should know that.
