Possible blizzard safe check

So I get a weird whisper from somebody both not on my friends list or my recent players. Luckily I was watching my bot when his happened. The person whispered for me to give him a waypoint but I noticed something fishy when trying to inspect the player and noticing they had no profile and it said invalid player. Possibly blizzard checking to see of I was human???

Anybody get anything like this?

haha blizzard said they will never do smth like this. indeed this is new, but in no way connected to blizzard antihack department. so what if someone doesnt answer to strangers he is under suspicion of being a bot ?
 
like 2 months ago i got such pm the guy had invalid profile,not in my friend,recent list , and i was just checking my bot so i answered lol
 
ive had this happen to me before as well.

So i copied the name of the account and checked online..

the character did have proper name and a crappy character built..

It could jsut possibly be that blizzard's bnet is messed up.. which wouldn't be surprising.
 
Had this yesterday he asked me what bot I'm using I kindly asked him to explain what a bot is no reply accept the same message ! Invalid profile he kindly got told to fuck off and blocked communication .. My guess there's a couple of low life party poopers about checking up on all the para 100 s whispering them if there's no reply there reporting us . The diablo community are real pissed with us at the moment .
 
These aren't players. I've tried everything to replicate a user with an invalid profile. These whispers are just to check if the people are humans or bots. It's clear
 
Infact ^^ that makes sense because who ever was messaging me seemed foreign or very slow
 
"Alright this guy might be a bot, how do we make sure?"
"Whisper him bro!"
"GOOD IDEA BRO!"

Noob indeed.
