Both Kick and Cava make use of annoying popups and both seem convinced that their popup is necessary. So be it. But why waste player's time by stopping the bot for 15 or 30 seconds? Display the message as long as you think is necessary, but do not stop the bot. Leave that to the players.

The bot cannot be run while there is a popup.
It is how the behavior is written.

If it is that much of an inconvenience, edit it out of the profile.

"free thing?" You are definitely a mod or at least in the pay of Boosland. A paying customer would never use this kind of argument.

Perhaps I should explain it better, since it seems like you might not get it.
The bot "can" run while there is a popup. It will defend itself.
While there is a UserDialog, the "popup", the bot will do nothing except defend itself.

This means that when there is a popup, it will not complete quests, or pull mobs.
This dialog typically closes after 30 seconds.
You are botting, so you are losing a negligible amount of time.

Unless you are talking about the profile stopping itself because your character cannot complete the quest, which throws a UserDialog telling you why it is stopped instead you leaving you to guess.

However, in each thread you have made complaining about it, you are not clear on what type of popup you have a problem with.

you are right, i have not made it clear in this thread. But that was certainly not the case in the other thread. It concerns the start popup, something completely obnoxious, and which would maybe be negligible if every player had only one instance of HB running. When you have half a dozen of more, and when you have to stop and restart the bot so often because of the many bugs... Then it is a pain in the butt. This thread is not about the usefulness of this popup. I clearly stated that that I could live with it, but that I did not understand why the bot has to stop. You have only convinced me that the bot. as it is now written, cannot cope with a pop up and run at the same time. That is a proof of poor programming, not a mistake from my part.

I am a paying customer and I understand that you pay for the bot just as I do. But are you complaining about the bot or a profile? It sounds like you are complaining about certain profiles that certain Devs are nice enough to share with us. You do not pay for the profiles they are created by people who are not employed by Bossland and are not payed for creating these profiles other then by people who are appreciative enough to donate to them for their hard work.

1) kick'sprofiles are advertised as being the official profiles, the writer is an employee of Bossland.
2) the right to complain cannot be taken away by saying each time to people: if you do not like it, change it yourself.
3) once you publish something you implicitly seek the approval of the users, otherwise, why go to all the trouble? And approval is never an all-or-nothing matter.

unfortunately we didnt write the profiles JUST for you. if you dont like them then feel free to remove them from the profile manually, so you have your own set tof profiles that run whatever dam way you want. MOST people have never run those profiles before and NEED to know whats going on.

This kind of warnings are very useful the first time(s), but, usually, they can be turned off when the user feels he does not need them anymore. That should not be too difficult to change, would it?

Those popups make sence and are good. They give necesarry Information. If you don`t like it, write you own, edit the ones you have or search for others. Noone forces you to use them. I don`t care about them. What are 15 seconds if the questprofiles save you weeks of gametime?
