Popping an insence without having to open app on phone?

I've been wondering if I can pop and inscense somehow without opening the app on my phone?

I always have to open my GPS to use my insence on my phone for some reason and I don't wanna risk it jumping from Norway - > USA under the span of a minute... and I currently have 16 insence stocked up. Does anyone know any alternative method? Tried many times popping it without my GPS but it keeps bugging out and not getting turned on...

probably best not to use incense using this bot, it doesnt seem to pick up lured pokemon (so i'm guessing its the same for incense spawned ones).
you would just be wasting those incense.
