[Poolfisher] Twilight Highlands Volatile Fire + Highland Guppies

im using the profile right now and its great an all BUT it doesnt fish from lava pools- it totally skips them. i even started the BOT at the pools and it went right past the 3 that were up. is this a pathing issue? im using a ele sham with shamwow cc. ( ran a uldum mine/herb profile last night and went just fine) any idea's whats up?
 
nope its not blacklisted at all.



just watch it say going to fire pool then turn right around again
 
Could also be because you have something like "dont ninja enabled"?
If your client hasn't synced completely with the server, it might notice another player (but you just can't see him yet) and go on?
 
There's only one issue with this profile.

Every area has a fixed number of fishing pools. Fish one empty, another one will spawn. These spawns, however, are utterly random. If you fish a Guppy pool empty there's always a chance it will respawn as a rockfish pool along the coast.
The problem comes when all guppy and fire pools have respawned along the coast (and you *will* get there). This profile will then be flying around and around but never find any pools anymore.

A very good way to counter this is to have 2 fishermen flying around. One on this profile, one on the Full Run profile that was posted some time ago. You'll still be fishing mostly guppies and fire but the Full Run will make sure that the guppies and fires keep respawning at a good rate.

can people running this tell me what there distance settings are? maybe that will help too.



** nvm i relogged did something else , came back started it up again and it seems just fine now. going on 20 guppies 27 fires, 8 waters and some herb.

I know that spot. Its a phasin issue. I placed a Blackspot there, I thought I uploaded it, but in any case just place a Blackspot and tell me the XML, so I can insert it. Atm I don't have an account running.
 
Tried this for two hours and it only found 35 guppies.. and that is with seemingly no other fishers around. There just don't seem to be that many pools. Is it possible for them all to respawn by the coastline or something?

Edit: Looking back it seems it has only fished volatile fire for some time now, as those pools are still there..

Yup. There's a set amount of pools in the area and they respawn at random locations. So there is a good chance that running this profile for about an hour results in no more pools in the area since they've all respawned at the coast.

This isn't a problem when there are many fishermen around but on low-pop servers this profile won't get you much.
I usually run this profile in tandem with the "All of TH" profile. Two toons, one only doing this profile, another doing the full run so that you'll never run out of pools.
 
Is this profile still working? I can't get it to work, looks like i have problems installing Poolfishingbuddy.
 
Got me my Sea Turtle after about 20 minutes! Thats a win to me, thanks, great profile! :)
 
Mine keeps getting stuck going from Loch Verrall to the river and back. It just keep flying straight up and gets stuck on the world ceiling.
 
DK Issue

If anyone is having issues with DK's and standing in lava pools, I found if you turn off water walking in the settings, you don't just stand in the fire anymore.
 
I was wondering if there was any way to make it skip a pool is any others are near / Fishing it?

Ive noticed many times that it flyes down, and starts fishing in pools that others are doing aswell, and then they start whispering or typing to me, luckily ive been there everytime, to answer, but i would love to make it just skip it?

Works fine, but Id like to ask if there is a possibility to make the bot farm nodes at the same time, as my char is a miner :>
