for me... hell yeah
I'ma bot to 50 then bot mathos rep again then i'll play legit and bot on a different account.

Depends on the ban - if its 24hr then I'll carry on playing but not bot again, but if its perm then bye-bye Telara.

i went with hell yeah, i DLed a diffrent bot to use until this one is fixed, started a trial account to level up in the mean time... looked at a few before i DLed one. and i have to say... this one was WAY better... this onther one is total shit, works, but its almost more of a mouse controlling program then a actual bot. Load and go with this one... the other one is really shitty lol.... works... but shitty lol

Didn't really care for the game much, only resubbed about 8 days ago.. Not going to repurchase.

I'm going with hell yeah. I really hope the ryftomate guys don't decide to drop this project due to it not being worth the money for any perceived hassle that such an early banwave has caused.

Just out of curiousity, how long did it take to bounce back from the HB/GB ban? Not expecting an explicit ETA there or anything, just curious.

wonder if i should create a new account after this one being banned for 24 hours because they might have flagged my account as suspicious

Gotta pay for my new copy of the game somehow, and botting will be it!

If I can't bot, I don't play. Wtf, I will not waste hours leveling a toon. I got banned, well nice, cya, I don't care :D

i hate leveling a second toon. So i'm banned ? no problem, bye bye Rift, i go somewhere else

Kinda iffy, your accout is flagged as botting but so is your IP / MAC flagged for botting.

Macrogoblin is offline too they were also hit and I would say if you dont use VM to bot I dont think your save.

MG is offline but not due to this wave... nor were they hit by anything

MG has been offline for awhile now. Nothing to do with this banwave.

Ill continue Botting
Without a Bot i wont play MMOs for more than a Day.
So keep up the good Work Team Ryftomate ;-)
Hope you open the Doors soon

They absolutely log your MAC addy. I am sure that is how they come to the coin lock conclusion. I have 3 PC's in my home, If I sign in to the same account consecutively from two different ones it gets coin locked. Same IP. On the other side of it, if I purposely change my IP to a different one, nothing happens. I am assuming (have not really researched this to say 100%) because they store the PC's mac address. THis way they know if you are logging in from a different PC. Which, for shits and giggles I am going to start logging into my 3 new accounts running a random MAC spoofer..... ;-)

Mostly the same for me. They actually billed me another month right before they banned me, but I just wasn't into the game that much. I hand leveled up to about lvl35 or so, used bot to get to 50 hoping the game would get better there, but it didn't really. No plans to repurchase.

Thinking about WoW though - I tried it the first month it came out and didn't care for it a great deal and didn't go play past that first month, but it's probably changed A LOT since then right?

I've had a coin lock occur when I switch routing paths to the servers as well (to improve ping times). Same IP shows, just different routing, so its a little hard to lock down just what flags the coin lock, or even if they log mac addresses. I believe the terms of use say they may do so, but at the same time, they may not.
