[Poll] What is the best gold making method?

I make about 4k a day by selling herbs and ores on the AH. 30g for herbs and 15-17g for ghost iron. How in the hell do you get 20k :S
I have 600 Blacksmithing and 600 Elixer Alchemy, I sometimes sell some flasks but it's not like that's getting me a bunch of cash.
What am I missing here?

More specific? I have 2 bots and 2 accounts. I have one bot farming MoP resources 16-ish hours a day.

dude, if u play on multiple server, u will understand. Or try play on both side on barthilas. I made 25k a day on Horde, and dead on Alliance. High/Full server are good for shufle, Medium and Low server are suck for shufle, better sell the mats.

Can you give me a hint how the "Shufle" (herbs to shoulder enchants..vendor, etc) is good on a packed server? First, u cant gather 200 nodes of herbs cause there are 100 other bots. Second, your profit form AH is teribad - Lotus @ less than 10g, Starlight ink @ 5g.

I make 30k on my low server these days with shufle with 1 bot. 20k from shufle and 10k from AH. How can you do that on a full server!

Looking at the wrong servers? lol i scouted a few out planing on setting up on them with good prices. and if you cant farm mats urself then buy em off the AH get em less than 30g = profit. on high pop servers i would imagine you could make a killing in flasks, gems, and enchants as well.

thats a lie, i was getting 250 an hour on a full server. during peak times 6-10pm it would drop usually down to around 180-200 an hour.. but regardless was still smashing out good numbers.

I farmed BGs with my farming account to get a decent set of gear to work with then farm raw mats ie herb/mine. I send all mats after 12 hours a night of farming to main account and use what i want for myself and guild then sell the rest. It has the least amount of effort and still pays out. I don't really know why everyone wants to make 40k a night. I mean i see why at the start of botting but you get to the point where you have so much gold in the bank you literally don't have anything to spend it on unless your selling gold. I moved servers and left a lvl 25 guild alt bank that i bought off someone with hundreds of thousands of gold in it because i seriously have nothing in the game to buy and have no need for it.

starlight ink at 5g? wtf. i mean, it's down to 30g here (from 80g a few months back) but it spikes each Faire week back to maybe 50g. I don't make a steady 20k per day, but playing the ink market and holding most surplus until that week, i make double that at least 1 week a month.

I would love to see what profile you are using to get 250 per hour. I have 3 bots, 3 servers (low to high pop), tested almost every profile posted here, made my own profile. Nothing can get more than 220 nodes even on low-pop, geared tauren druid with goggles. Prove me wrong please!

Could somebody expand a bit on the topic of Jewelcrafting/echanting. At the moment I have 1 bot and I'm getting ~5k from shoulder shuffling with my inscription and then I get a bit of ore that I really have no use for because I have a Enchanter and jewelcrafter, but it just ends up in me having to constantly cancel enchants. My enchantments literally never sell. I have plenty of them, but they don't sell and I've tried doing just raw enchanting materials, they don't sell either. So could somebody explain how they make a larger margin of profit every night with JC and Ench

P.S. I'm on one of the highest pop servers.

Yea, same as macedawg. I bot during peak & off peak hours on high pop servers & I get 250 - 275 / hr. To "prove" our points would require us to share with you our private profiles & other techniques (i don't do screen shots), which would screw us over.... I suggest working on your profiles. If others are using the same profile or a similar 1 that shares the same nodes, then your output will be decrease.

your making more gold by grinding Companions like Parrot cage Hyacinth macaw, Azure whelpling, Tiny emerald whelpling, Captured firefly etc
its not even in the poll, but otherwise i guess auction house, im buying fish and making oil with alchemy sells good

The market went to complete and utter sh*t when the companions got made to all on account, not to mention with cross realm its nearly impossible.

1,5 sec gathering
1,5 sec mount
9 sec flight

I think you would do well to do more research. There are many helpful posts about this topic. Gatherit spelled it out quite nicely several weeks ago & people are still complaining about low nodes/hr.

1. there are no dismounts (druid)
2. gathering is like 0.5 sec (druid or rare gloves for KLS)
3. no mounting (see #1)
4. If you are flying for 9 sec before you get to your next node in Panda Land - you have a shitty profile

There is no issue facing node - fuck that.
No combat (see #1)
No stuck - I write my own profiles & test them.
Doing herbs & ore is actual SLOWER in most cases. I herb only for max nodes. When I herb plus ore - its prolly about 240-250 nodes/hour. But I prefer to just have my plate miners do ore because of combat issues in certain zones.

It's like washing money. Instead of selling raw herbs or ores, you transform them into something else; such as milling herbs into inks (inscription) or making potions (alchemy) or prospecting ores (jewelcrafting) or transmuting bars into better bars (alchemy) and then sell it on the AH

In my server stacks only sell for 40g max and they are hard to sell.

So you'd have to farm roughly 200 stacks (don't even have that much bag sale" to get 7-8k. And they wouldn't even sell.

Yah like I said, it depends on your server. I'm on a FULL pop server, with 4-5 top 50 world raiding guilds. Danios sell almost instantly for 100-250g a stack (depending on whatever the AH PRICE is) and the others i just turn in for ironpaw tokens, and the Soy Sauce/Rice Flour/Black Pepper, all of which sell for 90-110g each.

I got a total of 43 Stacks of Danio, and 61 stacks of Emperor Salmon and Redbelly Mandarin Combined.

Posted in trade chat, 10 seconds later I had a buyer for all 43 danio stacks @ 125 a stack (5,375 gold)

Traded in all of the other fish for the cooking mats (one stack of each). Posted in Trade Chat a few times and got a top 50 world guild GM to buy all three stacks for 90 each (5,400 gold)

So i made almost 11k in 8 hours overnight, not too shabby =]
