You send an in-game mail to someone, choosing the Cash On Delivery option, and set the amount. Say something like 400g or whatever the total price would be for what you attached.
You send the mail to them and they pay the gold when they want to open the mail. The gold is sent to you, and they can then grab the items from the mailbox

How do you guys find private buyers, too risky to ask around since if you do it publicly (in guild or what not) players can easily report you. So how do you guys find these private buyers?

Asking if someone is on a server is not a good idea. It is definitely frowned upon. The admins don't like this stuff.

Private buyers for me is just the guy on my server that I send all my items to as CoD. I've even had one in my storage guild and he would just deposit gold for the items he pulled out. Obviously we had been doing business for a while before setting that up, but it was a lot easier for us both.

But again, don't ask for private information from users, and I don't sell gold to any sites if that's what you were asking for

it depends, i think the max was about 4-5k each time..
but when i had recived all the mails, it was abit over 30-40k in total.

Easily faked by just having an alt sent 100k gold to you by mail, then have a few auctions sold then collect everything...

Even with the usage of a private buyer, sending too much gold over the mail can easily get you flagged or banned. I believe that if you trade or mail above a certain amount the server may even auto ban you. It's best done randomly or in small bursts.
