Might not be much of a help but here's my feedback.

The current gui suppose to be easier, but now that I'm bac I'm well amazed that this is the GUI.

It's wait to dark so it kinda is annoying when searching trough the buttons to find what I need, and it takes many clicks to get options to show up or to hide.
Was hoping it would look easier to use.

I could do without the colored text, as some of it is still hard to read. I really prefer the black text on white background, as it's least stress on the eyes to read...but I would at least like to be able to not have to read fluorescent blue on gray gradient background.

I also liked being able to see the log and the summary (kills, deaths, current goal, etc) on the same screen. now I find I end up swapping back and forth a lot to get the information i used to be able to get at a glance. But it also depends what i'm doing. running heroics, I don't care much about the kills/goals. running quests, when it sits there and does nothing, I find myself scanning the logs to see what it's doing...or if my character dies a lot, i'm trying to see what it's doing. etc.

The settings are too complicated, too many pop-ups. Though once set up, it's mostly not changed. maybe give "closer" (as in, less clicks to get to) options for some of the most commonly used settings. toggle profession gathering and looting. Those are the ones I seem to change the most.

I would like to have easier access to plugins. I toggle allrounder, profession buddy, rarekiller, etc a lot during a botting session, and it's a pain to have to go through that many clicks.
Not sure if it's still happening with the latest version of HB, but with 4620, even if I disabled certain plugins, HB would continue to use them until it was restarted. Mostly the issue was with equipme as far as I remember, but there may have been some others, as well.

finally, i would like the gui to remember the size I last left it at. while some people like the new sleek and small look..i got dual monitors and have absolutely no issue with space for my HB window. in fact, i tend to make it larger, just so I can read more than 2 lines of a log at a time. Not a major thing, but it would be nice if it stayed that size once I change it.

its been difficult for me to generate blackspots, get reports, etc... things are too deeply hidden into the interface, and every new window opened prevents me from clicking (or selecting stuff) at the others.

Too bad, but probably for the sake of new users (rookies), advanced users got handicapped.

As far as I am concerned, I overall like the new look of the UI. Yes I agree it is different and will take some getting used to. I might not have used it to some extent that some of you other guys that use the DEV tools and stuff like that, but I like it.

On another note: Keep in mind guys that human nature is to not like change, so when you are using the new UI please keep that in mind. I think that the DEV's are heading in the right direction and with some constructive criticsm and I do mean constructive, we can help them make the way you like.

*Please* at least give us the option to have the old gui back. I hate this new one so much. It's really really horrible.

I hated it at first. But it's growing on me after I've learned my way around it a bit.

Q: How many HB'ers does it take to change a light bulb?

A: WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!? CHANGE?

(It's much nicer, imo.)

LIt looks good, but Functionality need to be improved. along with all of the bugs of the build. Saving settings is kinda a big deal...

don't rant and complain for the GUI they will change it when it's needed but there currently probably working on muchbigger features you don't even know of yet.

To make this product it requires hours and hours of work, for you it takes 10 min to order and get it working, so instead of bitching about the gui, focus on your wow time and being usefull on these forums by posting logs and reading wiki's.
I'm quite amazed that everytime something is broke or not the way you want it all you can do is bitch.

Be happy, go bot, read the news, go out!
Or
Create your own CC, Profiles, Plugins, etc;)

just my 2 cents.

regards,
panYama

I don't like it very much. I've got 3 Screens and every liitle window of HB opens at a different place. Furthermore i like the windows standard style so it would be nice to get the old ui back.

ok, i think this has gone on long enough.
the bottom line is that the GUI is not going to change, we cannot "Switch" it back, its a change that you'll have to live with. now if you are having Functionality issues with the GUI, Such as buttons not working and that kind of thing, then make a post in the release thread detailing the issue, but the whole "i dont like it cause its different" business needs to end.
