Simple poll to see what the users think about the new GUI fro HB.

IMHO I do not like it, it hurts my eyes and takes far too many clicks to get the same amount of stuff done. Not trying to bash the buddy team or the UI, just wanted to get some opinions about it.
 
I'll say indifferent cause i dont know what the old UI is since i bought HB few days ago
 
i LOVE the new UI, it?s abit tricky to find everything at first, but now when i have been looking at it for abit i realy love it! Great work devs! :D
 
the new HB ui is here and its gonna stay

my suggestion is to use this thread as a "think tank" with suggestions about how we must tweak it and what you wanna see on it

many of your suggestions/ideas are already applied

so keep up the good work
 
I think the DEV's are headed in the right direction.

One thing that would make HB less intrusive on the user experience is to allow the error reporting to be set to automatic replies to Bossland. In the even that someone steps away and the bot encounters and error I would not mind it being sent without me having to select option and click send.

Yes, there are some bugs but they will be worked out over time. So far I think it functions more efficiently overall - I found most of the issues I have encountered have been CC or Profile related, the BoT seems to do what it is meant to do - Play the routine and mundane parts of the game for me so I can work, slack, or get other shit done.

the bottom line is, we HAD to get multi-language support in, not everyone speaks or can read English, so there was no way around that. and honor buddy was hard to deal with when you had 2 or more clients going as the windows took up a lot of space, now you can fit roughly 2 windows in the same size as the old ones. and im a lot of gold farmers and people who run multiple bots really love that they dont take up so much dam space.
 
It's a ui, after it is setup i really don't have to sit here staring at it.. So i really don't care one way or the other.
 
ill hate it as long as there wont be any working relogger
 
I like it.
It also seems to start 5x faster than the old one.
I can still remember the Ui from the first Test Releases. THOSE where a pain in the a**. ;-p
 
Tucking away the options you whould only want to set once is a good idea. I preferred the larger log window of the previous version though.
 
I wish the bot config button was on the front of the bot, when you use lazy raider and need to set tank you have to click threw a buncha windows to set it fast.
 
I would like the ability to have Log and Info being on the same window like the old version.
 
What about a big fat gui, with everything on the same side (only one other tab for developers tools) and taking all the screen size ?

Oh and please make the buttons more "professionals" and looking strong :)
 
I like how the new UI looks but dislike how settings/plugins/dev tools are all in popup dialogs. Putting them in tabs would allow faster access. Ya I know you can't please everyone.

There's a lot of things to change I know but do you like the idea of it ?
 
It is ok

The interface is ok, but it seems WAY too squished. I dont like having to click 5 buttons to get to plugins. We should have the option to have the larger display, then have a button to make the box shrink to the new size. It looks a lot cleaner but I just feel like the process of making it look cleaner made the "settings and tools" way too crowded.

Maybe where the bee is right now, can be replaced with the information currently in the "info" tab, because I would like to see the log and the XP/hr, kills, death, loots, honor/hr at the same time. A "time to level" would be great to be included right below the "XP/hr"

but i would rather the bot config, class config and plugins buttons to be available on the main screen\

also not sure if its profiles changing it or the new UI, but ive notices some options like loot corpse, random mount and learn new flight path options dont stay the way i save them
