GB2.. I can't see how people are using GB without people reporting on sight. It has some pretty obvious bot behavior lol.
I used GB1 for about 3 weeks straight, exact same zone, exact same characters (3 of them), and that was about a week ago. Unless blizzard is slow (very possible) I guess I just know which zone on my server to go to when I need to avoid eyes. Check with your server, whenever you want to start just do a /who of the zones you'd be willing to send them to, take pics and over a few days go back and look. You'll also start to notice who seems to be in those zones a lot. I've made about 5 friends that way lol.

As having used both, I must say GB2 is a much better quality product than GB; however I say that with some caveats.
GB2 is better than GB IF ram is not a problem. GB2 is better than GB if stability is not an issue for you(can watch bots occasionally.) GB2 is always better in combat situations, and is one of the only reasons it truly outshines GB(No more macros YAY). GB2 has a better black listing system, rather than blacklisting every type of herb at a certain node. GB2 has more reliable repairing(bugs occasionally) and can use every mailbox rather than those programmed into GB. Last 2 features, 1 can adjust flying height(works wonderfully for profiles that could be fixed by just flying a little bit higher, or adds another bit of randomness to your bot), 2 can loot monsters(looks more legit IMO for randomness purposes.)

Hi, becouse of this reasons i would prefer to use gb2, i thought i can use the same profiles i also use for gb1, but there are a error (faction changed to gindarea) that prevent me from using gb2. Do i have to write my own profiles a second time for gb2 or can i edit them?

Sorry for beeing off topic but dont wanted to start a new thread fort his litlle question.

Thanks in advance!

GB1 because I can't afford Liftetime atm. So I have no clue as to how GB2 performs.

Is this Poll Rigged ?

Software Votes Percentage
GB1 44 24.31%

GB2 144 79.56%

Total 103.87%

Am I missing something ?

Edit: is the extra 3% added by the Meta gem :D :D :D .

Multi-choice poll... hmmmmmmmm

I saw that GB1 was updated so it made me wonder if I should be using it instead of GB2. I'm pretty new to the whole botting thing so I've only run GB2 for about 10 hours in Uldum and currently creating Herb/Mining profiles from scratch to level my 60ish mage. I'll get him to the max he can get for now and then level him up farther.

Buuuuttt... that brings me back to GB1 or GB2. I read over this thread and for me, there is no reason for me to even try GB1. 1) I don't like looking like a bot. 2) I like the CCs for combat and the Mesh for navigation (overall). 3) I certainly prefer not to have to code macros...

So... I'll stick with GB2

I use both, I still like the rare mob beep on GB1 (As far as I know the option isn't in the newest version of HB, I can't find it)

Tony,

Approx how much CPU and memory does HB1 use over 2? Right now I'm running HB2 right this moment with 3-6% CPU and 1-2MB of memory rising to 10MB when it finds and gathers a node or needs to fight. Mining in Deepholme with a public profile.

Wow is using 17% CPU and 712MB of memory (settings not on lowest, only one session)

there's a plugin for that, search rarekiller

GB1 serves a better purpose if you are running more than 10 or 15 clients simultaneously on the same computer.

If you're not, then you will likely be better off using HB/GB2. It is a pretty significant improvement.

Yeah like algamish said. If you have 1 bot definitly use GB2, much better navigation and combat for when it occurs. Yes it does use more cpu memory and stuff but its worth it to not look like a bot. But, if you are a gold farmer or the sort and have lots of Wows running, (Even on the same connection, not necesarily the same comp) use GB1. Its a little more 'bot' like as far as combat and navigation goes but less cpu usage so you can run more Gb1 then Gb2

I have just started using GB2 as of a couple of weeks ago. I held off for ages because I found that several copies of wow and HB open on the same system was causing the system to grind. Now that Hb has been streamlined my system barely notices all the windows open. GB2 fights mobs much better than gb1.
