Pokemon fleeing - not using great balls?

So, it went well getting me so far from 6-17. But the past 2 hours it's been encountering pokemon and missing constantly - the pokeball count is NOT going down. I only have great balls at the moment. I'm not soft locked as I can get stuff from poke stops. I can also catch manually on my phone. So.... what's up with that?

Yeah seems that he does not use Great Balls yet. We're fixing this.
 
That's because great balls aren't working atm.

so far no luck its great for farming poke-balls and hitting poke stops but not one Pokemon so far
 
Same here, glad it is getting fixed though.

Be nice to even to be able to login, go servers seem unusually busy today and not coping well.

What u mean does not use greatballs? Like if ur empty on pokeballs it does not use greatbolz or it does not used greatball when stronk pokemons?

How long does a "soft ban" last?

Awesome, I found out I just spin a pokestop until i get loot and it disapears!

i didnt really know.

edit:
about 2 hours with the game open on my phone and standing still

edit2:You can force it to stop it.
Disable Catch Pokemons in Settings and loot pokestops
until it loots everything normall
