honesty if pokefarmer was my program i wouldn't be disclosing the details to how i counter niantic tactics....now telling how many of them may actually be in the forums...i know if i was working for niantic i would be doing everything in my power to stop the pokefarmer...just saying
 
Just pick an ip and port from wherever you want to go and bot away. How long should you wait before you travel somewhere else

It depends where in the world where you are may be 10-15 hours if you are in the United States , Asia , Europe.

You have to calculate roughly the time it would take from one location to another, like a normal person

I have tried what you suggested doing but whenever i tried doing so the only thing that pops up after starting the bot is "Could not connect to login servers. (probably wrong password?!)". Any suggestions on what i should do? Thank you =)

Same issue
 
nah if you are using public proxy just fill up the hostname and port and leave blank username and password , I think username and password is applicable if you are using premium proxy but if you are using public proxy just leave username and password blank hope it helps :cool:

i think puplic proxys arent so good 'cause the multibotting-problem.
if i multibot anymore, i got softbanned after few minutes.
this problem may u have when u use no single (privat) ip and that will cost a bit á month
because an other pokemon-go player can use the same IP than u when it is puplic.

sry for my bad english - i hope u know what i mean.
 
We need an update that changes visited pokestops to purple for 5 minutes so the bot doesn't keep visiting them and thinking its banned. Most annoying thing ever...
 
so if i am botting in my own town i dont need to use proxy only if i decide to go and bot overseas?
 
Any help please i use trust zone as a vpn do i need to fill in the network settings in pokefarmer if so what should they be please

Yeap i have tried leaving username and password blank and filling up hostname/port but still doesnt work =(

then try another proxy not all proxies you found is working.. you need to test it some proxies i have tried some and its ok but when the game start my account is idle so i need to test another proxy ip again

i found one (australia Sydney in my case), login worked and the bot started like normal. so far so good. but it was just waaaay too slow (2min to catch 1 pokemon). so i guess for now the best Thing is to bot on Walking or jogging speed.
 
Y same for me, got baned with this option, new account doesnt have this, still works fine
