It does not work. Downloaded the trunk file on the SVN link, also did it via tortoisesvn. When you configure a new profile, and you select de demonbuddy symlink on YAR's configuration, it shows that problem of null object, waiting 10 secons...

Did a fresh install of DB.
Did a fresh install of YAR.
Restarted computer.

Hey, does your profile setting in YAR is pointing on demonbuddy.exe or the modified one ? You should try using the demonbuddy.exe if not.

Im using the new version and i dont have any problem.

You'll need to describe more than "YAR does not work ok" - How?

Edit - Saw your previous post, I have none of these issues and run 10 bots from one YAR and difficulty setting is fine and they all start.

Again - do you have the updated version Jubis posted?
how exactly does one download this?

is there a .zip or .rar?

thank you!!

Thanks for your answer.

That must be the problem. Which DB version are you using? I'm using last one, 455, and as you know, that version includes an autorenaming feature. When you do a fresh install, there is a demonbuddy.exe on the folder, yes, but if you eecute it, it renames itself, so you have a symlink demonbuddy.ee and a hhtehgeiu.exe on the folder. Pointing to any of those does not work and causes the error described by me and others.

I tried a fresh install so there was only the "original" demonbuddy.exe on the folder, bit pointing to that also didn't work and it showed the same error.

What does your DB folder look like? Do you have the demonbuddy symlink exe and the renamed exe? Did you downloaded the last YAR version from the SVN link?

Thanks in advance!

mannually its ok, after new update db.exe always renamed and yar crash
make sure you point to the 'Diablo.exe' symlink file, not the actual .exe with the random names.

newest version doesnt work for me. It doesnt even start diablo 3:

Assembla gave you the old version I'm afraid. I have no idea why it does that sometimes. Try downloading again, see if that helps.

I'm alo having no luck with this version. It doesn't do anything, just sits there saying "Started". I have it pointed at the demonbuddy.exe symlinks.

Which version it should be?! I try redownload it many times and verison is 1.1.0.0 BETA

Use SVN Updates then you will get the right version!
Read this guide. Additionally, when you assign a SVN URL to a windows folder for the first time, make sure you delete the contents of the folder prior to doing so. This will ensure the folder only contains what was on the SVN.

Thank you it worked with SVN Updates, its now fully working. I can upload a .zip file here for people that does not want to download SVN.

I had to delete all my YAR folders in /plugins so it re-installed it.

OK, since Assembla is not working out and the forums decided to allow me to attach YAR now, I'm going to starti zipping new versions up for you guys.

I never heard anything of the sort before. Can you try checking the 'Force' checkbox right next to 'Start'? See if that helps.

I need to start changing that version now that you mention it. Right now I'm only changing the version in Plugin.cs

That's a trinity exception, not a YAR one. That said it'll be fixed in the next version (of trinity).
