[Plugin] Trinity Fork (Kite/Avoidance)

Hi there.

I use the fork with the settings, and have also modified the R-Rift.xml, and it still dosen't kite, or keep a safe distance to Elite Packs/Rare Mobs/Bosses. I caught the bot stand in the middle of mobs many times, and it also dosen't avoid their AoE.
It only works good on normal trash mobs.
 
I'll go see if I have not forgotten to put the low Hp when I reworked the weighting of health globes.

Cael there must be put Trinity.xml in the right section before open demonBuddy.
If you're like me with the same hero, I see no reason why it does not work ^^ What's your build?
 
This is my build:

Multishot - Arsenal
Evasive Fire - Focus
Cluster Arrow - Loaded for Bear
Sentry - Spitfire Turret
Smokescreen - Healing Vapors
Companion - Wolf Companion

Passives:
Archery
Blood Vengeance
Awareness
Custom Engineering
And Ballistic from the Hellfire Amulet

I got 4 pieces of Marauder, using Cindercoat and Hellfire Amulet
And using an Ancient Arcane Barb with nearly 3k DPS

I've followed you instructions, even with the R-Rift.xml and the Hidden Content. It still dosen't avoid AoE from mobs.
Or run away when mobs get too close. My trinity fork, and settings are exactly as posted on first page, as are the R-Rift.xml and the Hidden Content for the DemonHuntercombat.cs file.

The Trinity.xml is under Plugins section

Giving this fork a try later, might be a huge improvement for HC characters like me.
 
Trinity.xml need to be on demonbuddy/settings/*battletag*/ here

It is, but the other zip file with Trinity is supposed to replace the original one right, only the xml goes under the battletag
 
Fork does not like flame traps and other stationary traps...keeps trying to kite them, so ends up in a loop if there's no way around.
 
I figured out the error with my fork when I saw Cael's post.

If you start the bot while running smoke screen it will just not work. However, if you start the bot running vault, let it vault once, and then pause it and switch to smoke screen it will run flawless again.

I much prefer how the bot runs when running smoke screen, so hopefully this is fixable :)


Wish List:
-Add logic for the explosion from the horrors (large fat guys) as I die to those almost every time
-Add logic for shooting away from mobs while they have reflect damage buff up
-Fix fork to be able to start bot with smoke screen

Would be so sick! Great job so far!

I confirm db user comments. In fact, these are the problems that I had also and it seems to be fixed following his suggestion!
 
Thanks Db User, it worked! I switched Smokescreen out with Vault, and it seems to work great now.
 
My bot is working pretty good right now. After switching Smokescreen out with Vault - Tumble it fixed the problem, and is now kiting, keeping distance and avoiding enemy AoE, well most of the time...

But how well is your bot running? Cause I think mine is pretty slow, cause it avoids enemies too much, which makes it progress too slow in Grifts. I always run out of time when I'm a little over 50%, even in Grift 37.

Also it sometimes leaves the Grift before completing it, I've seen that a dozen times now.

Hello friends,

First, thank you BuddyMe for this amazing tool. I made a DH to try it out and I'm enjoying it so far.
I'm not sure if this is intended to be used only on GRifts but I found a annoying issue on this while using it on rifts. On act4 maps such Cabalist's Journey, where we have those flame turrets, those little things like traps on ground that explode when we walk over then, or any other thing that's part of map environment and causes damage are being handled as enemies by your modded trinity and makes the bot to try to attack/evade those and on narrow paths where those are present, the bot can't progress going back and forth trying to evade and casting skills on them too.
Also, it's spamming the sentries as soon it charges up. It's annoying because it wastes all charges on a single normal mob. It gets worse when we have that channeling buff on, making the bot to only spam sentries so fast that they don't do damage because they are not up for enough time. Would be nice if you could make it to control better when and how many to use depending on how many mobs/bosses are around and/or if we have the three sentries up and on mobs range, don't let the bot to cast another until they are running off.

Hello i made a dh just to test it, now that he is geard to do t6 easy i have been looking to him and the plugin looks great but...
1: Sometimes he just "forgets" the kite logic and vault's into the mobs then quickly moves out(also i have seen that when he vault's in a specific area he often vault's back to the same place)
2.Those big fat add's that explode and male snakes, hmm he sometimes stands right on top of them
3.Like mentioned before when mons set a trap on the floor (liek caltrops) he dones't move past it but waits for it to expire)->very similar to that machines that spit fire he kinda lose his mind just moves forward-backwards
4.I have seen many stucks on Arreat maps(crater and those spiral ones). There is a clear path to be selected but for some reason he can't find it and trys to unstuck but the inactivity timer(3min) kicks in.

I installed a fresh db beta build with your trinity and pasted another file in setting like showed. Also all setting are set like shown on 1st post.
 
Just tried it and this kite logic is AMAZING! increased bot survival chances by a mile!

BUT.. i to seen bot get stuck 2 or 3 times in Arreat map.. just gets stupid moving forward and backward on the same place apparently for no reason.

Any change i can make on the bot to avoid this to happen? Thanks alot for the hard work

Also, many times i see that he doesnt pick up purple elite globes.. any reason for that?

Bot seems to path around back and forth on some maps normally attempting to destroy objects despite the settings having them off. Its normally trying to target objects that are not even destructable then trinity seems to blacklist them and it continues onward. Any way you could look at this? Other then that the kiting is amazing it just struggles on some tight corridor rifts.
 
Does anyone have a link to version 04? I would much appreciate it.
 
Running the kite plugin on DH, it works with vault but not smokescreen.
 
Been trying this a bit, the only issues ive had so far is.

[Trinity] Using Vault for avoidance movement, try to avoid a3dun_crater_st_demonic_forge_Atacking_2 !, Dist=34,2

And some minor ones, sometimes it will target an elite at far range point, at like a crossing with sevral paths. Kill it, and then not collect the progress balls. Just going some other ways.
And some doors, it targets an elite and starts shooting it. Instead of opening the door, just trying to shoot it outside the door.

This is with all the settings thats pointed out at the first page, been trying some other settings with no better results.
But the worst thing is the a3dun_crater_st_demonic_forge_Atacking_2 one.

Edit: Also issues using the channeling pylons, it use them. But for some reason it gets to quick or fast or something it just tries to shoot but nothing shoots out.
