[Plugin] Stop dumb zig-zagging as you head towards a node.

It's up to you to put the distance. I use 10 and it works just fine.
 
Love the plugin and new GUI :)

But, my problem: It sometimes take some time for the vein to disappear. When mining with my druid, he shifts to flight form, and plugin forces him out of it instantly, sometimes twice in a row, because the ore is still there.

Would it be possible to add something like: if I dismounted just now, don't do the dismount thingy in next 4 seconds?

edit: oh, i see somebody posted this allready. Then I'm just bumping this "problem" :)

hm its not working for my since the new release, simply isnt dismounting.
 
well i dont know whats the problem, downloaded it > plugin folder enabled it, saved my settings (both, 30 yards, no loot) so there should be no error from my side or did i something wrong?

english client. newest HB.
 
Not working for me, log attached.

It doesn't seem to be working for me. I have added the ZigZag3 folder to my plug-ins. I enabled it in HB and used the GUI to set the range to 20 with no target loot.

It has yet to dismount prior to reaching a node yet, log is attached below.

same for me toon still fly's directly to the node.
Thx for the gui all that about change line blah blah are you kidding I'm a carpenter lol.
Clever people always make the same mistake they assume everyone is just as clever as they are and unfortunately IRL we're not but I'll make you a beautiful cabinet.Thx again and hope you get it working soon gl.

I don't know why, it just seems to work good in Pandaria and not out there. I already removed the zoneid, but still not working outside Pandaria. I just added the GUI and the code is for Crowley :)

(did have to change the code a bit to let work the GUI but ....)

It's difficult to make it not work but it's possible. I used your version with the GUI and it failed each time. I downloaded the original one, edited it for mining, distance and saved it. Loaded up HB, checked the box and started mining. It wasn't working. When I went back to see if it was enabled, it wasn't. I enabled it, recompiled, started it again and it worked. I changed the distance in the file again after that and tried to restart it and it failed to work again. Now I can't get it to do it at all. So strange.
 
DismountHerb.zip (1.0 KB, 959 views) is working perfectly fine.

If you want to mine and herb instead of just herbing then uncomment line 36 and comment line 35
ok now I know but at first after a long day on the building site its like "wtf" .

thanks for the answer bu I am noob for this :) when you say "uncomment" what do you mean?to erase the whole line?can you please copy the line 35 and 36 as should be? and what file exactly to edit for this?

Uncomment the line. Download notepad+. Helps see the lines of code better. Then compare that line of code to the other lines. You'll see the text that makes it "commented out" or inactive compared to the active code lines. Notepad+ displays this nicely with different colors. When you delete the text that has made that line inactive, you'll see the color change and know you did it right.

I deleted the // from line 36 and so it became black and addes // to line 35 and it became green (just like how line 36 was). I think I did it right and going to test it now. Thanks
 
Sounds like you did it right! I am chained to my smartphone ATM.

You turned off herbs and enabled mining. If you want both, now you know how to enable both lines. :D

Finally had some time to do a little bit of work on it today.

New non loot version on page 1, main reason for non loot fix and not the looting version is leveling speed. Will dismount in any zone when using GB2 or Professionbuddy to make leveling gathering/mining faster. Also added mining only line. Comment line 50 and uncomment 48 or 49 if you don't want both. Tried making Pasterkes' Gui work buuuuut apparently i suck so no GUI as of yet...only a small hint there me thinks ;)
