[Plugin] SimpleFollower - Another Battleground follower plugin

If theres also any way to make this for healers aswell that would be awesome, i think bobby has stopped updating Squire as the mount issue has been around for months.

I know, gutted. If the mount issue was fixed (not sure why it won't mount) would be awesome.

Hi there .. tried to fixe stuff in this

thanks to all who helped me learrning stuff .. and thanks to FPSware who i stole some code!!

should now be usable for healers :D

but not tested!!!

look at the settings file !!!


internal static readonly string PullAbility = "Icy Touch";
// set this true isf you are a healer
internal static readonly bool heaaaaaal =true;
//when do you whant to heal
internal static readonly uint healperc =90;
//first spell he is gonna use
internal static readonly string healspelz= "Healing Surge";

will now test it by my self .. also i'm on Quakenet ;P

11 added a check

ps- changed some stuff .. shows now up under plugins and didn't trows errors ... (so many beginner failures)

Very nice and a good idea, should work well until I get around implementing healer support :)
 
but seems ... as i broke something ...

it don't find any grp anymore .. but i didn't coded there something

seems also not to follow anyone ..

but don't don't see the error until now

Tried this in WsG today, as soon as the battle started it went outside, and spent the next 5 mins trying to mount up, the toon is lvl 12, so it does not have a mount. I have all of the mount options unchecked in HB, and I tried to set the options, but couldn't find where to set it not not mount up.

Using newest HB release, and Fpsware Default Druid CC.

Disabled all plugins but this one, and still had the same problem, trying to mount when toon has no mount.

No clue how to get or post the any of the 3 log tabs in HB or would have done that. Sorry, I'm new to all this.

Yeah it does not know how to handle lowlevel characters without a mount. Haven't had time to fix it, but I'll see if I get time over the weekend.
 
I think it is locking up when It dies just looking for suitable groups then it doesn't rezz. idk using your dk cc
 
tested with my mage 64, what this pluggin is supposed to do in bg ?
when i run it, my mage just follow the group, and when she reach the group, just stay at certain range, and do nothing, don't attack, nothing, an enemie can pass near me in my range, she doing nothing

EDIT : ok i start to test it with ur simpleDK cc and my DK lvl64 to see if it act like with my mage, just follow the group and never fight, i will report when i finish my first BG

EDIT 2 : ok just finished my first BG as DK, i checked ur pluggin
the only thing the bot do is following never attack any target, except to attack back when bot take damages

For me this plugins works but it seems to block the cc. My shaman isn't doing anything then "simple following" others...it won't attack or heal or anything. When i disable it, he instantly starts healing / doing dmg.
 
i think it take control of all routine in BG, so it just make ur bot follow the group and do nothing, so if unchecked, ur bot will start to act normal with the CC routine
For me, the best plugin to use to act really like a player and not a bot who just follow waypoint/hotspot, is pvpaction, it go where ppl are fighting, so u just follow the hotspot like 20% of the time, always in fight A MUST HAVE for all pvper
unfortunatelly, the plugin don't take control of all routine in the BG, so waypoint/hotspot route, try to call back the bot evertimes when it try to go fight, i'm sure it's easy to fix for all coders here.
that's simple, each time the plugin succes in going into the fight instead of following the hotspot, player thx me for help. eaach time it can't, team talk about my gameplay, asking why i stay in defense and don't go in attack
i know atm noone take any attention of all post i made asking to recode pvpaction or fully integrate it in HB, but i know i will succes soon.

That's simple, when they will put it and make it work in HB, this mean just one thing (for BG users like me), LESSSSS report about bugs or anything else in BG, no report for ban or suspension in BG, nothing, this is just the thing that want developper for their soft.
 
What would be nice is a plugin like instance buddy . Make your guy follow someone and attack whoever is in the area

I was reviewing how this works, it looks like it's setup only for DK's, and doesn't call the standard PrePull / Pull behavior of CC's. Needs some more work to be applicable for any other class!
 
Don't think there is much point to this plugin now than BG bot can run in mixed mode with all other modes.
 
hmm prefering this/pvp bot atm, seems to run better, to get it to work i had to change the spell name in the settings.cs for anyone trying to use this not being a dk. i'm prefering this to squire aswel
 
I'm also gonna give this a try as currently, the bot gets stuck too many places in battle of gilneas. I think this will maybe change it's routes :)
Also, I'm hoping to get more honor, as currently some ppl get like 2-3 times more honor than me (people on my own team ofc).

Any chance you can ignore certain classes to follow? Like I hate Mages and I never want to follow their dumb asses around >.>

Might as well add Priests / Rogues to that list as well.

Or even better bet make it a priority at the very least.


Also I would like to see gearscore judgement on follow?
Blacklist low gearscore characters for 30 minutes. (Good for level 85 BGs)
If it can read the gearscore should be able to ignore talent trees to follow aka other healers. (Blacklist able as well when scanned.)
Scan whole raid before BG starts and blacklist above requests as need be.
