The plugin isn't even coming up in plugins because of that error. Thanks good to hear I'm not the only one having this issue.

Did you follow the steps at page 81?

Can you link me to that profile if possible? And did you interact with the screen at all or did bot "click" the figurine?

I've read this a thousand time now. It's boring and litters up this thread!


The author wasn't here for a long time, so an update can't be expected any time soon.
Repeatedly complaining doesn't help to make things better!

I got rarekiller to work but the problem im having is the crashing when mob is found.

running GB2

have both setting frame lock off
mine/herb off
slow fall off
auto dismount in flight checked ingame

I tried using grind/afk to camp but loque has multiple spawn points. I tested grind/afk method and it worked but just not realistic with loque and k-krush.


Whenever i find loque or king krush it says mob found, going to tame... then wow just crashes while my char heads down.

I read this thread over and over but just cant find anything else regarding this problem. I know the author hasn't been active in a long time but if anyone has any tips, that'll be very helpful.

Okay so got the Error down to 1 code after following steps on page 81, Anyone had this issue now? Compiler Error: c:\Users\Aaron\Documents\Honorbuddy\Plugins\Rarekiller\Rarekiller.cs(68,23) : error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'RarekillerAeonaxx' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Not even showing up in plugins. Would be willing to donate to someone to help me out

i too had trouble as you.

Everyone who has errors and it not showing up, go to page 81, theres directions. Make sure you use 4.11 Beta, and that you copy the replacement files in the correct folders (one in the main folder, the other in my classses) If you can't do it, delete the thing, and try again with a new 4.11 beta and copy replace the correct cs files.

cancel that, this plugins wrecked. It'll freeze no matter if singlur is off (on both settings and class) and honorbuddys "find mob id" option in profiles suck dick, we're fucked

If you guys want a working Rarekiller download this, I just tried and works like a charm

I tried my hand at applying some fixes to the 4.11 BETA base. If anyone is willing to test it out and tell me if it's actually mounting the plugin and if the basic functionality is working, would be appreciated. I'm not a programmer, it's just a hobby, but I will try to work on this more.

Unzip 'RareKiller.zip' and place the 'RareKiller' folder into your '%HonnorBuddy%\Plugins\' directory. Make sure 'Use Framelock' is unchecked under 'Settings & Tools' or your wow session WILL freeze.

Wonder if you could just use npc scan or his other addon to play the noise and auto attack/do the stuff. You will just have to sit there though

I am considering updating this plugin to WoD, cleaning it up (getting rid of all the MoP rare logic which is now worthless) and future proofing it a bit, would like to gauge interest first before I do anything, I have already fixed up aeonaxx catcher and currently testing it out and I have made some fixes for the warrior class where it wasn't using ranged attacks properly and will probably upload those fixes once I catch aeonaxx.
