[Plugin] randomBuddy (to random generate gather profiles)

hey whenever i start this it gathers around 2 nodes and then flys straight up in the air and gets stuck...
 
Hi,

first of all thanks for this amazing work. I have a problem that was described a few times in this thread already, my bot does not repair.
When im using a different profile, project human for example, the bot does repair, so i guess it has something to do with this profile. I need help, because right now the bot does not work :-(
 
Was working perfectly recently, now all of a sudden it does not mail! Have it set to min 3 slots in bag, and i have exactly 3 slots and its just flying all around panda land not collecting herbs/ores and wont go mail my stuff either..just when things were FINALY going good. No idea wtf to do now, i have tried redownloading fresh, reinstalling, etc. nothing works. Mail recipient is already set up so theres no reason it should not be mailing.

rndbuddy does not mail and repair by itself, it just generates a profile which (should) contain the coordinates where mail and repairs are located.
the "work" itself is done by gatherbuddy2.
so you should first check that there are coorinates for repair and vendor in the xml file (see the file that's given at path), if there are (and i bet there are...) check if the problem persists with a 0815 gatherbuddy profile.

if it persists head over to gatherbuddy support forum, it not, please send me a log

There are indeed mail and vendor coordinates, and i noticed every time it starts hearthing, it gets about half way through hearth and the game and bot close and HBRelog shows the game exited with a code 12 and HBRelog has stopped.

I just dont understand wtf is going on now, i have tried so many different things. All 3 of my bots (Each in their own virtual machine) are doing this.

" Honorbuddy process has exited with code 12, signaling that it should not be restarted " I know its not HBRelog problem cause if i start just the bot by itself and hit start, it still closes with the same issue.

EDIT: I just noticed in bot config i could configure GB2, and by default its set to hearth and exit on bags full :O I changed it to mail to alt, im hoping this works!

EDIT2: IT WORKED! Oh thank god lol. Thanks for the help! If you hadnt of said what you did, i wouldnt have thought to check GB2 settings! Never even occured to me! You have my thanks!

I havent actualy seen it do repairs but im prety sure its doing them just fine. I do recall seeing it earlier today saying it was moving to repair and it got stuck so i had to restart it (Go stuck because i didnt have enough gold for repairs)

But other then that everything seems to be going fine, repairs included.

My API key is correctly set in the plugin, it is the same I use to start the bot. Any advice ?

please do not use your honorbuddy license key on this.

Thank you so much roboto it's now working, but the registration on the randombuddy project website isn't explained in the main post, it would be useful to add this to avoid any further problem.
 
so just to be clear - do i need to generate a bunch of xml profiles on the site first, then have this plugin rotate them? Or will it automatically do all this for me based off my api key?
 
Twisty this plugin works like this :
- You select "Gatherbuddy2" bot base
- You do not need to select a profile
- Click the plugin button and check that the plugin "randomBuddy" is activated (checkbox checked on the left) click this line and push the button "Settings"
- In the settings check that your API key (of the plugin not the API key of the HB bot !) is set, check that you selected some areas to farm and click "Save and close"
- Once everything is ok, go somewhere in the area and press Start to start the bot.

If everything is correctly set, you should see in the HB logs something like :
[randomBuddy] Using host 74.121.150.21
[randomBuddy] New Profile received.
[randomBuddy] Loading Profile...

When you start gatherbuddy with this plugin, the bot ask a server to send a new profile, downloads it and use it instantly, you do not need anything else.

Please Twisty check all these settings and tell me if you made it work.
 
Amazing - can't wait to try this.

How has the detection been on this? I'm on a dead realm, or should I say - have access to a dead realm via cross-realm invite.
 
The detection is harder for blizzard because you are not on the same area, flying on the same track over and over again.
If you set 85 hotspot + 10-15 min to change the profile you will be farming without ever coming back on the same place, it is the behavior of a "real" non afk player.
I'm trying it for 6 hours now, and it's working like a charm, congratulations to the development team your really rock !
 
unknown api key...yet its active and i used it on the web page :S
 
I think you made the same mistake as I made : You used your HonorBuddy bot key not the randomBuddy key.
You can go on this website :
randomBuddy - Generate v2
And click "API" at the top, register for free and get your key, then put this key into your plugin and it will work.

Check and confirm please.
 
tried a new key and it worked.

No, I wasn't using my HB key :) - thank you for your help, Pierrox
