[Plugin] randomBuddy (to random generate gather profiles)

i've set up 2 additional mysql server to have a better failover
 
just for people to understand why there were that many outages in the last 4 days:

about 7 days ago, this plugin went real viral, connections per hour went up for about +250%
this is how my hourly hits look like (every dot is taken from the end of the hour when the api hit counter is being reset)

(data of the last ~4 days, u can count the dots if you like :D)

the original server structure was created to serve about 200-500 hits per hour (=about 200 users max) , you can see that there's much more going on.
there are a total of 4.551 API Keys issued (all active) and in average more than 1500 users (=api keys, maybe not unique poeple) request about 1-4 profiles per hour

so i had to buy additional ressources and adept a new concept of loadbalancing.

i hope it is now all sorted out and we can continue to have f-u-n :D
 
is there something Im doing wrong? I check Hillsbrad Foothills and the bot goes to... Trifsal Glade?
 
maybe one node overlaps with another zone :D
 
I find it kind of puzzling that my toon flies straight to mudmug's place when the server was down a few hours ago.

I tested it for one hour after the server came up and my toon started farming like clockwork again. :)
 
dunno whats wrong at mudmugs place, there must be 10 blackspots already
 
So I'm just a bit confused. How exactly do I obtain an API key so I can use the plugin? Sorry for being retarded. Thanks.

When i try starting the bot i get this message

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Bot Stopped! Reason: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

What's the problem?
 
nvm lol fixed it

At first i thought that you didn't have to load any profiles and it would just keep creating new random ones from the beginning, but found out you had to make one from the website first :P

Err, no you don't. Your issue must have been solved by something else. Anyway.. if it works, who cares, happy botting!
 
I've the same issue that you amazingbrian. It's the first time that I used RndBuddy in Kalimdor and i've this. It stay stuck when it's mail time ;)

Does this tool only support herbs/mining or can it generate profiles for skinning/grinding too ?
 
randombuddy not working for me anymore

since around a week randombuddy isn?t working for me anymore, have the same problem some other people had, no matter the zone it is in, it flies to mudmugs place and stays there in the air.
did fresh install of honorbuddy, tried deleting caches and blizzard entertainment folder in programdata, made a fresh svn and randombuddy install through svn, so far nothing helped, would be thankful for any solutions, log attached.

rndbuddy is up and fully working as usual, there were more than 5k hits in the past hour, so it must only be a local issue

herb/mine only, i'm sorry, i've thought of adding this functionality tho but i'm still unsure how to do this

i think System.Net relies on the global system prox.y settings, as entered in your control panel.
if you insert it there, it might work

i'd recommend a pptp v.pn or a openv. instead of oxy usage as nerly all of them add a route to your routing table and dont depend on the client
 
just tell me the mailbox cords and the faction that its flagged for (horde/alli/neutral) and i'll add it.
also make sure that you're using the latest svn version, as the old versions dont get the faction associated mailboxes
