How awful would it be if Blizzard decided to DDoS his server? :( The thought makes me a very sad panda.

But on a happier note, just wanted to say a big thanks to Roboto and Piotr55 for your hard work. Makes me bot with a bit more peace of mind...
 
There's a temporary solution in my Signature if you don't want to wait for the servers to be brought back up.

The method is almost the same.
 
So I need to rotate between farming and grinding, will randomBuddy switch my grinding profile to a gathering profile out of the blue? Is there any way to only enable it when it's using GatherBuddy?

lol the host was down due to a DDoS xD
all up and working again.

in the next few days there will be a new addon revision, providing a fallback to multiple mirror servers
if you're capable of sourcode-manipulation, take a loog at the info api site on the HP, there is a mirror address you can enter in the plugin

You can use my curl based plugin, i'm not allowed to post it here, but you can have a look at the homepage

i didnt tought it'd have that much echo, so at first i ran only one render and one db server
now, 7 weeks after public launch, i run 4 render servers and 3 DB Servers to balance the load, in peak hours more than 1.000 different api keys are active.

If anyone's curious about the settings i run my own bots:

i run up to 8 bots, every bot is on his own VM with it's own IP
zones: vot4w, kl, jf
amount of hotspots: 45
include blackspots tickes, everything else unticked
running this 10 hours per day (including breaks)
average nph: 160 (on a 150% mount)
servers i run this on are mostly medium populated servers (not that much competition and better ah prices imho)

banned: 0 accounts

if you wish to help to keep RandomBuddy up and rocking please consider one of the following:

-) report Bugs and Issues you encounter wither on this post or by PM (when requsting add of blackspot please include: zone, x,y,z and radius!!!)

I have one remaining question. How do you sell all your ores/herbs? Do you use multiprofile in PB(does that work with this?), manually, ahbot?

Heh, I took a look at it and I'd have to be swapping profiles manually which is the same as nothing.

Thanks for the help though, I'll look for another way to do it.
 
just got slapped with a perma ban - Twilight Highlands.

if you remember, my post about the test i did, anyway after the 72hr suspension, i decided MOP is not the place to bot.. so i went totwilight highlands, population 0..
let it run most of the day, and when i woke up!

You got banned after a ban. That's normal IMO. You should have taken a break.
 
They might even put restrictions on your account if you got caught botting once, personally I think it's because you're in MoP :P
