[Plugin] Profile Restarter - A multitool with AntiIdle& Profile Scheduler capability

any way you can set profile A run for 2 hrs and play Profile B for 10 mins? and switch back to profile A ? cuz if you running sarkoth and keep switching every one game u lost your gph u know what i mean?

You can disable the randomness and just add in the same profile multiple times. It will execute them in the order that they are added.

Add as many of the same profile in as you would like, disable the random profile selector option, then start the bot!

:D i have just encounter a problem that i don't know how to fix.
i stop db manually and afk for a while in menu, then i start it again and it creates a game.
but as soon as my char joined, the db log shows it thinks my char is stucked, trying to unstuck.
then my char just randomly wander around in town.

sorry for my poor english:cool:

That's odd. It should reset the checks on a new game. I will look into it when I get a chance.

Just started using this tonight and this is the single best plugin I have ever used with DB so far :)

Very decent plugin indeed.

Two notes btw:
1) Is it possible to have profilerestarter.cfg setting be a multi-character based
2) Any chance for also plugin/routine support, let say, have a list of profiles to rotate, and the setting which plugins/routines must be used with it.

Thanks,

I haven't considered using different characters with each their own setting. Theoretically, I could code it to interact with whatever your character selection is... What would be the purpose of that? Can you elaborate?

I am thinking about adding in plugin support for different profiles. I have been busy, as of lately, so I haven't had time to do it yet.

It was working all day for me... and all of a sudden it finishes a sarkoth run, then it stays in town and doesn't restart.

I have noticed that the newer revisions of DB are acting kind of weird. You may want to go back a version or two and try them out.

Is your profile random elimination? Does it take into account which ones had been loaded already so it doesn't load it again? For example, if I have 2 profiles, and if it is random, there's a possibility of selecting the first profile twice. Or is there some kind of elimination that will kick in so it knows that the first profile is to be removed out of the random queue?

There are two ways of using the scheduler.

1) Random profile select - After completing the first profile (whatever you loaded first into Demonbuddy), the plugin will select randomly from the list of profiles that you have loaded in. After the first random pick, it will remember the last picked profile and will blacklist it so it wont be picked next. However, it will only blacklist the current profile while picking the next profile. So there is a chance that Profile 1 will be selected again after doing Profile 2, but Profile 1 wont be randomly picked again after running Profile 1. For example, if you have 5 profiles loaded in... the random picks could be: Profile 1, then Profile 5, then Profile 1, then Profile 3, then Profile 5, then Profile 4, then Profile 1, then Profile 2, and then Profile 3, ect ect.

2) Non-random profile select - After doing the first profile, the plugin will do the next profile in your list. So, it will do Profile 1, then Profile 2, then Profile 3, ect ect.

Check the checkbox in Options to disable or enable randomness.

As hinted, the plugin will not count the first profile that you manually loaded into Demonbuddy (the one you start with), so if you have Profile A loaded, it may be the first random selection.

I hope this clears it up!

hello and thanks for this very nice tool.

having tried it out today for the first time I am encountering an issue which I hope you could assist me with.
I am running champin farm in act 1 with my brand new barb :)
ha doesnt have great gear but he does surprisingly well nontheless, however he does die once in awhile, this is where my issue starts.
upon death he revives then teleports and restarts the entire script, which is quite the run to go through :)

is there an option I am missing that lets him continue from where he died instead of the long run?

This is an issue with Demonbuddy itself. Unfortunately, there is nothing that I know of that can help you out. Maybe in a future development, of Demonbuddy, this will be addressed.

By the way, I love the Avatar. ;)

Hi,
it seems a nice plugin, I plan to test it later tonight !
Regarding your profile scheduler, what happens if I set "non random profile", and it runs to the end of the list; for instance if I have Profile A, B C set in the plugin, what will happen once DB has executed Profile A, B and C ? Does the plugin makes DB stops, or does it just loop back to profile A ?

Thanks by advance !

anyone know why it does this? shouldve quit the game a while ago?

@Raoul It should start over at the first profile.

@wowcheesestick The plugin will attempt to move, however many times you set it in the settings, but if it doesn't move at least the minimum move distance it will keep attempting to move. Your minimum move distance is under settings.

Great plugin!! So useful. Thanks alot.

Had a problem to report today. Came home and it was trying to pick up the same item over and over again but backpack was full. This is probably failure of the giles loot plugin, however your plugin was reporting this message...

[13:03:14.511 N] [Profile Restarter]-> Oops, we don't have an option to record ItemQualityLevel 'Invalid'. Please, take a note of this item, and report it to GRIM2594.

So thought I better report it :) It was a rare armguards

...also as a side note when i restarted everything and my character was stationary in town identifying everything, your plugin twice thought it was stuck and tried to unstuck? Probably normal behavior?

This is exactly what i was looking for.

Will give it a hurl when i've altered sarkoth famring for dif. movement behaviours.

Would also be nice to have a setting called : Amount of runs per 60 mins : x

After that it pauses the game for 10-15 mins or just under the logout time.
