Thats where it goes wrong, the folder name should be "Pokehbuddy"

2. Post your file that you created for this pet.
3. Have you used the Plug-in to make your pet profile?
4. What are the abilities you are attempting to use, can you post the code that you created for them?

He puts the logic files in the folder the botbase uses. The botbase hasnt been updated and does NOT support the new logic file standard yet. The folder for PetSettings for Pokehbuddy is Plugins\Pokehbuddy\PetSettings

new to the forum and the bot. i jsut want reach this achievement Legendary Pet BrawlerWin 5000 PvP pet battles. I dont want to farm new pets. What profile must i set?

also i would ask are there profiles for leveling that change automatically

if you don't have SVN set up, basically, visit team-random - Revision 132: /trunk/PokeBuddy and download the 3 RAR files on that page
"Extra pet settings (place in PetSettings folder).rar",
PetArea.rar,
and PokehBuddy.RAR.

Then,
1. Create a Pokehbuddy folder in Plugins, Create a PetArea Folder in Plugins.
2. copy/extract the contents of the pokebuddy.RAR file into the Pokehbuddy folder
3. copy/extract PetArea into it's own folder in Plugins.

4. inside Plugins\Pokehbuddy\PetSettings, you will find a few .xml files for each pet.
5. if you have an existing collection of pokehbuddy xml files, copy them into Plugins\Pokehbuddy\PetSettings
6. if not, copy/extract the contents of "Extra pet settings (place in PetSettings folder).rar into the PetSettings folder, ( just the .xml files, not the subfolders).


if you have SVN set up, don't bother with the RAR files, make 2 folders for PetArea and Pokehbuddy in Plugins, create a subfolder in Pokehbuddy for the Extra Pet Settings, then link the SVN URLs
once you're in HB, enable Pokeh and enable PetArea.

if you don't like the areas PetArea has by default (EK/kalimdor), you can download other ones from Guadah, from his SVN, https://guadah.svn.beanstalkapp.com/guadah/trunk/

(if you want, you can create a subfolder in the PetArea folder and link the Guadah SVN to that sub-folder)

start HB with GB2, and set the profile from Guadah's or PetArea's list of zones and levels, then change settings in PetArea to match the current and next pet level (typically, PetArea chooses the lowest pet level). this may be more useful in places like hellfire or durotar, etc that get busy or over-farmed, or if you're on alliance, in a PvP server, and don't want to farm out the front of durotar, sic.


as for PetArea, you can also set the areas to be more difficult if you're levelling i.e. put a 9-11 zone in PetArea's 8-10 bracket, and a 13-15 zone in a 10-12 bracket. its less useful after level 20, as you will want to spend more time healing and killing easier pets, but it's also good if you want to switch up tired zones. or use 2 20's and a level 10 for quick XP.

and when i use crawlys profiles when i pick one it switches to a lower one. example. i click on the 4-6 northern barrens and it changes it back to 1-4 duratar

Thanks for a really nice plugin. I've been uisng it to level 3 pets to 25. I want to use this to "power level" new pets but I cant figure out how to do it. For example having a level 10+ and a level 25 pet that can solo battles with 3 pets. Here's what i've been doing myself but I want to automate it with the bot. I have 1x low level pet around level 10 that I want to boost to level 25. I got 1x level 25 that can solo any battles vs 3 pets in Valley. I start with my low level and do 1 spell, either defensive or offensive attack and then switch to my level 25 pet who rapes all 3 pets and my low level pet gets enough xp to get 1 level per fight at start then 2 fights per level and then 4-5 fights per level at high level. Thats a really fast way to get new pets up. Doing all 3 from level 1 works but it does take a long time so I want to try to automate the boosting method most people do by hand. I tried to change the slider health bar in pokebuddy plugins setting and have it all the way up to 100 but it still waits with switching to another pet until he is around 25%. Lots of pets leave a DoT so switching it that late will end up with it being dead before the other pet has finished off all 3 cause the DoT ticks for more HP than the pet has left over several rounds.

What i'd do is see if the lowlevel has a spell with a cooldown, weathereffect or debuff. If that debuff/weathereffect/cooldown is active, swapout. Then the high level will be brought in and slaughter some :)
And you can ofc add a swapout health(thispet) islessthan 60 to avoid dying from a dot.

The sliders do not affect when a pet is swapped out, it affects which pet is swapped in or (pre combat) set as first to fight.

Put it on combatbot and turn on "PVP battle every x to y minutes"
No profile needed in this case :)
 
Just gotta say, LOVE IT!... put me first on my server according to wowprogess. made my 75 pets to 25 achievement.. That took a while. But wow did this make it easy.

ANY BOT/Pokebuddy. Amazing, autoangler, archeology, questing, gatherbuddy. Then i just let it run in circles.

you need to have 3 pets equipped, have the pet-rez skill and be able to trap ;)
