[Plugin] Loot Fixer (REPOSTED)

Since the OP failed to get permission, he would have to pull the project down, as per:

I didn't give permission. Hope that clears things up.

Thank you.

I Hope you repost it, but just to point it out, codenames post is outdated. Since a week the new rule is:"everything ever posted here falls under the bsd license and can be edited, reposted or anything, like other users want."

So if this rule applies, I think it does, and Proto would refuse to remove it, there would be nothing you can do.

No, the rule is you can edit it if you provide credit to the original author. And it must be a worthwhile edit, not the change of a single variable or line, for example. The new developer rules do not allow anyone to take someone elses code and directly repost it under their own thread, unless you've read something I haven't?

Communities like this are built on trust and understanding. If someone takes my code and does things with it I don't want or don't approve of, how likely am I to contribute more code? So no, I can't stop people from doing what they want, but I can control what I do and where I contribute. So, that said, I'd like to think there are still people out there who will respect others wishes. If not, they're actually letting everyone else down aren't they?

I've no idea if this is true or not. Regardless I respect the original author's wish to remove this plugin. This is better for the community in that I personally don't have the knowledge to support the plugin nor improve upon it. Should echelon17 decided to repost this plugin, it can then possibly be properly supported and improved upon. I do hope this will be the case, because it truly is a working viable fix for this little problem.

Moooment, I don't want to disrespect your work and I was one of th first to point out the breaking of the rules.
I'm totally in for a good flair in the forums 200%, but then there are certain people who don't care about this, if you read the long thread about the new rules, you probably know, they don't care about things like this and the re use of abandoned=taken down projects is allowed, even without code changes, only credit needs to be given. A mod wrote under this repost, only credit must be given or it will be taken down.

Good Proto is a reasonable person and not one of those dickheads.

So greets, nothing bad associated with this, just want to point out the new rules and still hoping for a new release by the original author. :)

People will be people, that's for sure ;)

As I said, I do plan to re-release this again with the changes I've made.
