Features
HB Updater is an (almost automatic) updater for Honorbuddy, the only thing you'll have to do is press the Update button. Once pressed, it will create a backup of your current HB Folder in the same directory as the application (HB Updater.exe). And it will download & install the newer version overwriting the old one.


To do

• Possibility to add multiple HB's to 1 updater
• Minimize at windows startup (IF Windows startup is checked)
• Create new layout

HB Updater

So i think i'll give you people a little preview of what I've started working on this evening.
As for now, HB isnt having an Auto-Update feature. So i thought, this is my change to contribute to the community! My idea is to create a small app that will notify you when there is a new version available and update it if chosen by the user. Maybe i'll even add an plugin&CC-updating feature. But first i would like to hear what you think about it!

I'LL HAVE TO WAIT WITH POSTING THE FILE BEFORE THE DEV APPROVES THE SOURCECODE!

Wow! I really like that idea, especially with the CC and Plug-in updater additions. I'll be looking forward to this. That would help the devs out a bit, I think, so people won't ask so often if there's a new version out, etc.

We have already had something like this what eRenion created but it never took of and never got supported. Anyway's it would be good to see something like this in action

The problem with past updater was it never worked and everyone had problem's and it just got left to rot really (mostly all of his plugin's had the same death which was a shame since he is a good dev) ... The author of this updater will have hard times against him if he releases it soon since wow has still got 2 big patches to release before Cata and this plugin will need a update everytime...

version maintenance would be awsome, if u need to revert to an older version for whatever reason, so u dont need to download and reinstall everything/setting up. and maybe some sort of reset feature?. sounds good in any case =).
oo, and perhaps list working plugins per release, so you could download directly instead of through the forums. hope this takes off.

Booooooooo, awesome idea! Aint using hb nor gb atm, so dno it it work. But will anyway sya good job! Thought of adding this feature into my relogger, didnt find a good way to do it though. Seems like you found it!
