[Plugin] Giles Stash & Loot Rule Replacer

i was casually checking some weapon today and i noticed that it trashed 2 weapon, one 2 hand with 1100 dps and one 1 hand axe with 700 dps, i'm not saying that they were worth stashing, but after checking trash log i noticed that the dps listed for those 2 weapon was lower than half the real value

it happened again, i picked up a 1-hand mace with 770+ dps and in the junk log it was registered with a lower dps, again I don't think that it was worth stashing, but i can't understand if is possible that a high dps weapon could accidentaly be destroyed for a missreading of the dps

Check that thread I posted in the developer forums, and give it a bump if you feel necessary - but this is DemonBuddy incorrectly muddling up items/mis-reading them from memory and giving them wrong stats now & then. Sadly this is an error right in the core of DB and there is no way for me to fix this - I've done the best I can with minimizing these errors, and catching them to prevent bugs like infinite stashing, infinite looting etc. - but I can't check if DB is reading the right stats (eg 1000 dps or 500 dps) or not - all I can do is accept the data DB has in memory for an item :(

not sure if it was gonna trash it but i wasn't going to take any chances so i stopped it before it could try.

this sword is worth a godly amount, i paid over 50m for the one i have equipped currently, and this is better! easily a 100m+ weapon.

derp i read it wrong! tired after a long night and i noticed it didn't go to stash it so i did the test backpack scores just to check and thought it said trash, my bad. i guess there was just a problem with it stashing.
 
this explains why i havent gotten one weapon in the past 5 days of farming :/ should i backtrack db and use a previous version of it?
 
I dont know if this problem was caused by this plugin or not. This problem only happen one or two times a day. When my inventory is full, my toon port back to town and the bot paused for several hours . It works again when I try to run my toon near the vendor then the bot pickup from there . Anyone have any idea what caused this problem ?

A log from the point the town-run starts to the point of it getting stuck would be helpful. Check your DB logs folder. I can see if there's any obvious problems.

The older the DB version, the more often it mis-reads memory. So rolling back to past DB's will only make it worse. However not finding many weapons is generally because good weapons are much harder to find compared to all the good armors, not helped because most people will pay all sorts of prices for armors, but with weapons only want "really good or nothing at all" :P If you're referring to bobdan's post of the spear picture - if you read the log, you'll see it wanted to keep it (it scored highly), he just stopped the process without giving it a chance to do it's thing :)

You can see that profile restarter decided your bot was stuck even when it wasn't (it had literally just stashed things and was heading to the blacksmith). You'll have to either disable profile restarter, or ask them to fix this issue. You can post the part of the log above on their thread, I'm sure they'll find that useful! :)
 
THank for helping me detect my problem. I think I can fix this by increasing wait timer =) .

yeah its an awesome sword, dual wielding with them both is fun (2.8k LOH lol) reckon i can sell it for Real money so put it on the RMAH.

It means my plugin saved you from an error that might have caused your bot to crash or get stuck in an infinite loot. Be happy! :)


Where can I see how many items it picked up, and what ilvl they are?

In the plugin folder, you will find many useful files for each bot - an overall "Stats" file, a trash log (items that were vendored/salvaged), and a stash log (items that were kept).
 
Giles, will you be updating the scoring system based on the way the changes reflect MF/GF and especially since higher DPS items will be dropping a lot more now...or will it take a few days of AH scouring to change this? Right now I have listed almost every item I got prepatch at 100k or less, some at 10-20k and they are not selling at all....I figured I would liquidate my items even selling them for 10k and they are NOT selling....

Yes but I'm busy with other things (eg combat replacer) and going on a (much needed) holiday in a few days for about 10 days so there will be no activity at all from me from this weekend onwards. So I could probably use some help with the scoring front with any changes that get made (particularly anyone willing to delve into the code and make the changes direct and let me know what's changed, if not then just let me know stats that need more or less scores, new DPS ranges etc.).
