[Plugin] Giles Stash & Loot Rule Replacer

Giles as i stated above, i'm running this with the loot rules you made especially for 185

Didn't stash ANYTHING
ran salvaged a bunch of items and kept running around, didn't even stop to stash the essenses and gems.
If gems and essences aren't being stashed, and aren't being sold, but are just being left in your backpack after salvaging and your toon carries on the bot-run as normal afterwards (goes back through the portal and fights stuff), then either you haven't enabled the plugin, you haven't installed it correctly (it isn't in the right folder - look for warnings in the DB notification window when trying to start DB with the plugin), or you are using a plugin that is over-riding DemonBuddy's town behavior and interfering. I'd really recommend you delete the "CompiledAssemblies" folder that is in the DemonBuddy folder, clear out all your old log-files, remove all plugins and try again with only this plugin just to rule things out. Also make sure the plugin is in the right place, and there are two files in there (the .xaml file and the .cs file). Let me know how you get on please, but your symptoms definitely indicate that the plugin is just not running! (also can you confirm what act your bot is running in, I know Db has issues with Act 2's stashing).

Edit: Oh. Check you haven't set all your stash pages as protected in DB settings. If DB thinks you have no stash slots free, it won't try to stash anything :) Somebody else had that problem a few pages back and fixed it by unprotecting their stash pages.
 
Pretty strange as mine ran a whole day yesterday and half day today with lines in loot rules including picking up follower items 60+ and he did everything right (so he obviously did load those rules), except he kept stashing potions yesterday and today when I unchecked "stash potions" he instead sells them :D Have to use protected stash rules again. Still running latest DB and 1.6.1
 
Deleted the logs and compiledassemblies, i'll let it run and go over the log files l8r see if it's working as intended or not.

Stashing potions, and selling potions, are two different things! :D Selling potions is a symptom of the loot-rules screw-up they made when they release DB.185 with the loot-rules code from the .17x versions instead of the .180 version (god knows how or why that happened!). Stashing potions isn't too bad - means the plugin should at least be working, especially if you're getting log-files in the plugin folder logging all the items it finds! Use protected bag slots if you can't get the tickbox to work in the config window, but I'd like to know WHY that tickbox isn't working for everybody and try to fix it! Could you try changing it in the config window (untick "Stash Potions"). Click Save. Then go to your plugins folder and open "StashReplacer.cfg" in notepad, and see if this line is in it;
StashPotions=false
I'd like to know if the plugin is saving the config properly (if it's even creating a config file for you at all)?

Relogger, ProfileRestarter and AutoClickOK are probably causing their own set of problems, and I'm sure one is going to be interfering with the other at times. I'd personally recommend removing all three of them, and setting "Inactivity Time" to 1, in DB settings, and Death Handling to "Logout". If you must use something, then I'd just stick to ProfileRestarter and not the other 2 for now. I've seen compatibility problems between those plugins and all sorts of issues with AutoClicker so I avoid using them myself, but that's just a bit of general advice and it's up to you! :D

Tried checking/unchecking the field. It does work as intended, the cfg file is there, the variable changes. One thing I found out is: using 2 versions of your plugin at a time might be breaking something.
I unpacked 1.6 in usual "GilesStashReplacer" folder and I created "GilesStashReplacer - beta" for the 1.6.1 one. It does save all the settings and logs into the "GilesStashReplacer" folder regardless of which version I am currently running. Maybe causing some confusion in the actual 1.6.1 script, because the path seems "wrong" to it. Maybe not.

Yes. That will cause problems. The GilesStashReplacer that is running must be in a folder of the same name as the plugin ("GilesStashReplacer") :D I keep a folder "Plugin_backups" in my main demonBuddy folder where I move plugins to when i'm not using them, am testing a new version, am looking for compatibilities etc. - that way it's close at hand in windows file explorer but DemonBuddy will never load it and I don't have to change any folder names (which can cause issues with plugins that look for a specific folder name).
 
It's just me but I suggest that lower the score for MF/GF if it is not paired with a Primary stat at least.

Browsing the AH it is already flooded with bunch of MF/GF :)

I'll keep you updated since I haven't looted anything in the past hours that is worth noting LOL.

Like I said time and time before, it would be great if we could select an option "ignore all NON-MAX MF/GF" items". (Unless they are worth something besides their MF/GF, of course).
This is a very minor issue though.

Oddly enough giles seems the relogger and clickok were the issue.
though i did run several days ago the whole bunch together and it ran fine.

ah well.. lets hope DB can handle errors on its own so i can fully afk after disconnections and such.
 
Rename the old folder/delete the new folder. I always use fresh folders for new DB versions to remove possible problems. I also always back up the entire folder of past versions (or better yet, the originally downloaded .zip file of old versions). Not entirely sure if just copying the .exe in will be ok - as there may have been other files altered with the version changes.

70,000 weapon score keeps weapons of reasonable (valuable) DPS depending on the type of weapon (1 hand, 2 hand, ranged). You can stick a 1-hander weapon in your backpack and click the test button in the config window to see sample scores, and this is the best way to check item scores out if you are unsure. Weapons get good bonuses (and so need lower DPS) if they have important stats like a socket, very high primary/vitality, life on hit etc. - but without those, need higher DPS to reach 70k+ score.
 
Does this plugin disenchant legendary items if it doesn't meat the criteria?

I am using 1.6.1 and I found 1 Fiery Brimstone in my stash and in the log it picked up 1 legendary item which I assume got disenchanted.

cool and very helpful plugin giles! But just one short question:

Is it possible that the bot keeps the healthpots? Does the protected backpack slots still work?

No - it will keep all legendary items. You can get fiery brimstones (rarely) from salvaging other inferno items. Note that there ARE some bugs in DB that, at random (and usually rarely), cause it to mis-read an item and send my plugin the wrong item data. There is no fix for this - and this plugin REDUCES this problem from default Db but can't eliminate it completely - so there's always a chance when using a DB that it doesn't do what it's meant to do with an item (Apoc is due to release a fix for this hopefully soon...).

Thanks for the feedback! That amulet you highlighted is worth a lot according to the AH, so I think it's quite right it scored that highly and stashed it!?

But blue items - yes I will add a check for armor & jewelry in the upcoming new version, and if the item is blue, reduce score valuations for all but the highest stat levels (like within 95% of max, which I'll just let it score normally, incase anything truly exceptional crops up).

This plugin supports protected bag slots. There is also an option in the plugin config specifically to keep health potions. Recommend a read through the 1st post describing the plugin! :)

I have used this since for quite some time now. Right now all my high end gems are gone :(

Could it be this plugin that caused it? How should I protect my gems from beeing deleted / sold?

I can only assume you had the gems in your backpack, you used DemonBuddy .185, and didn't see the note at the top of the first post about the rules files being incompatible with DB .185 without a special rules file update? :(

My plugin as it is - with correct rules files and DemonBuddy not being buggy, will always stash ALL gems of any quality that it finds in the backpack when it reaches the stash stage!

Very sorry you lost your gems I know that must be painful.
