[Plugin] BuddyCon

hi it was 44 when it was main I stop used it and when i finally got on the forums figured id let you know. ill try the new one now and tell you.

I can confirm even with the latest one from the svn it still does not output messages sent via the site.
 
I don't get any whispers on the page and the site only shows few messages from guildchat so you can't be sure if someone wrote you. When you reply to someone it takes ages for it to happen.
One message took like 8 minutes. Also the time the site needs to update the status is over 10 minutes sometimes.
The Plugin and site are really good but it still needs some finetuning :)

This might already have been adressed later on in the thread but I would love it if you would use imageshack.us as a imagehost.
 
Hi, I found another bug on app, when u ask for the first screen shot the app works nice, but when I try receive other I get the message screen shot received but I can't see and I can't delete them too.
The plugin heva any option to turn off the char from the server?

WTF? the worst "lag" i ve had was like 20 or 30 secs...

Like i said there is a anoying bug and i think i have to change a lot of things in the Plugin updater.
But i think im done with the own hosting server.
 
Hey, I registered on the site and have generated an API Key to use. When I edit my BuddyCon settings under Plugins I do not see anywhere to set my WoW directory for screenshots and I also get this error message where the log output is.

Buddycon now gets the Wow dir. So you doesnt have to set it anymore ;)
The convert error ... i know im working it, hating it etc
 
I get this error message when I try to delete a char.

I just reinstalled the plugin because I ended up uninstalling last time you had server errors ect because it would lag out my HB client and prevent it from botting, it isn't doing that anymore since I read the forums so I installed it via SVN this morning and got a new API key ect ect just like before.

I made sure everything was working before I headed out today but even with the correct API key in the plugin the character isn't showing up on the buddycon.eu page AT ALL, it worked before jw if the servers are having issues.

You are still planning on keeping everything on buddycon.eu instead of self hosting right? Because I would hate to have to host and setup my own stuff or IP to get my char info :P the buddycon website is really amazing.

Could nothing showing up even with the correct api key be an error since I deleted both the characters it had on the buddycon account then reset the api key and entered it?

No rush really, just enjoy the remote gchat feature.

Well tried it today with the new version. Still running at the moment but actually it's still the same. The status gets updated all 2-10 minutes and i haven't seen any guildchat messages the whole day. As im connected via Teamviewer to the bot i can see that there are guildchat messages. I guess the chatplugin still doesn't work fine and the updates take too long at times. If you could fix that it would be very much appreciated :)

Bug -.- need a lot of work. i hope i hav enough free time this weekend.
@Buddyco.eu vs own hosting: will be both as long as my hoster allows it.

Not sure if this is a hard bug to fix but overall its a nice plugin and I think if it was fine tuned it would be epic. I'm surprised bossland etc hasnt tried to develop this into the game like they have in the past e.g. dungeon buddy. If the app was in the app store it would make honorbuddy all that much better in my opinion like an honorbuddy app that lets you view screenshots of your bot and chat etc.

The "fixed" was for the bug with deleting a bot.

Its difficult because i have to transfer things differently. Because HB is giving me wrong values sometimes. But i validate them first and if thats fails nothing is sended or recieved. I seems that with theserver problem of hb the whole thing got worse... But i have some ideas hope it works how i want it to.
 
A Plugin Version is in now online.. i hope it fixes most of the errors (too much chat in/out, screenshots, "lag" (in my test highest peek was at 25 sec))

To reduce lag and (i hope) less needed cpu time im working on a socket based connection ... need to test/code it first

Tomorrow (oh its tomorrow ... i mean saturday ~ 15 UTC) own hosting support will be released

BuddyCon Self hosting is on a other Thread (dont want to mess things up between these two)
 
Is the Prowl function working atm?
just bought it on app-store, put my api key in the plugin and i don't receive a notification when i send a whisper to myself

TBH i dont know i have no iPhone so i could only "test" it if it gives me errors or not. And it gave me none. If its really not working pm me so you can be my tester ^^
