[Plugin] AutoGear - a working alternative to AutoEquipper

I currently have Tal Rasha's Unwavering Glare as my OH.

The plugin thinks an offhand is better, stating:

[AutoGear] [weapon upgrade] type: offhand | item: Immortal Spawn | ehp: +5.18% | dmg: +23.32%
[AutoGear] [equipping] Item: Immortal Spawn Slot: RightHand

However, when you mouse over the item the stats are as follows:

-10.9% damage
-10.3% toughness
+6.2% healing.

All other stats notwithstanding the new OH that is weaker has +55-188 damage and +380 Intelligence.
The OH equipped has +117-126 damage, 407 Intelligence & 9.5% Critical Hit Chance.

I'm unsure what calculations are going on here but it isn't accurate.

As stated in the original post, the calculations are rough and inaccurate. The reason for this is that not all attributes are accessible via code and some other things I couldn't make work without spending more time on it than I had on my hands (i.e. skill and set bonus etc). I'm hoping that in the future the Toughness, Damage and Healing percentages from within the game become accessible for Demonbuddy plugins, at which point AutoEquippers will be easier to create and much more accurate.

In the meantime: Even if it often chooses an item that might not actually be the correct choice, the plugin works well enough and detects items with enough accuracy, to level soft- and hardcore character to 60 and that was the goal.

Completely understandable. Given your stated goal I will use the plugin appropriately. I certainly hope that these values become accessible - what you are doing here is invaluable to the community and thus far has proven useful so thank you. :)

This plugin isn't meant to auto-gear for you beyond 59 because Demonbuddy is missing a really important feature: the ability to detect +skill/element damage which can account for up to 80% more damage.

Also if you are temporarily buffed or gain a level, sometimes the plugin bugs out like that. But afterwards it will equip the right item.

I've leveled 3 characters with this plugin and for the most part it is pretty accurate.

this Plugin does its job until lvl60 easy and I think after lvl60 you dont need an AE Plugin, cause of several reasons like elemental damage/set boni.

I encountered one big issue with this plugin while leveling to 60. I dont know how it happens cause I was AFK pretty much the whole time.
I find my bot sometimes without Items in different slots. Once he had no Weapon for example - which is very bad^^.
I saw that he sometimes switches between 2 Items every 15seconds, maybe because they have the same "scoring", maybe it has something to do with this fact and salvaging items?

Someone has an idea how this can happen?

First a HUGE!! Thanks!!!, for updating/fixing a working autogear plugin :)

2ndly i have a suggestion or addition, could you make it so selective slots could be excluded from the autogearing?

Does it work better than the official auto gear option ? Thanks for your work btw.
 
As soon as I find a Crusader shield ill post an update for it too work, it just uses the same weights as a barbarian although it will also equip crusader only items.

Needs fixed for obvious reasons:

My DH Loves to equip shields over his quiver. Untill thats corrected I can't use this on him :(
 
And two handed over knife and mojo on WD, a much worse two handed indeed
 
Hi ! Thanks for your work, but i have an issue !

When i loot leg, my bot don't equip them at all and sometimes he sell my gear already equipped oO
 
is there any way to make it prioritize items with sockets? or assign a value to each socket like the equiv of marquise gems in them. as in 64 all res to any socket on armor/shield, 110% crit dmg to any socket on weaps etc?

I tried this on my crusader. First it removed my shield, and then a couple hours later I found my crusader without any weapons at all.

I don't know if this is because of your changes or the original autogear, but I am turning autogear off.
