When I am whispered when I'm fighting something, the bot stops attacking and just stands there.

And I was thinking... with a "sorry I don't have time right now" or "I'm about to log off" you should put in a thing that allows logout after X minutes after whisper.

What settings do you have? for one of my responses I have "DONT BEAT ME MOMMY" :D
 
The AIML doesn't respond to anything at all... :-s

Am I doing something wrong? Is anyone else havingnissues as well?

This is a phenominal idea btw!!!

Awesome plugin , but can you enlight my nubish and explain how i can put my own messages please ? because standard messages are old fashion :p

I managed to get it working. I just moved the entire shutup directory into my plugins folder, and it's working now.

Holy cow this thing is cool. It's very basic, but I mean on European servers the way this bot responds actually seems very legit.
 
I Don't see how the AIML works.. It's all premade answers? Have I downloaded the wrong plugin? I though it was a plugin that, when someone /w me like Hi, the program would answer Hi or something, Now it's replying with pre-made answers and it looks kinda wierd :S Would be really cool if someone could explain what plugins I have to download, how to put them in my plugin folder, how to configure it so it looks legit when answering, and so on. The AIML plugin should simulate "real talk" right? Or am I way off here?.. And a [Blizzard] (PRob GM) Whispered me and got the respone "Fuck off".. yeah that looks really nice and legit, and when he whispred me again it would just spit out some other wierd comment?.. When I read it to be something like A.L.I.C.E. and really "talk back". How can I configure that?

Well the plugin ShutUp (not AIML) does some "real-talk" when someone sais "Hi" or "?" and so on, but that's just 4-5 settings, and the answer is always the same because it's premade, ofc the answers have to premade, but what if somone asks something that's not in the setup for premade answers? i.e = -"Hi would you like to join our guild?" - the bot responds "No thanks" - they ask again "Why not?" - the bot responds "No thanks" because the "?" is premade answer "No thanks". I just thought that the AIML would make the "real-talk" even more real, but that plugin only have premade answers, atleast for me.

So I was just wondering if someone could post a small tutorial or something for setting up the plugin? And what's the difference between Shutup and ShutUp AIML? I don't really see any..
 
How difficult would it be to code a plugin that relays messages to the bot to a remote AI and then pulls the responses back?

What I mean by this is, rather than coding your own AI or trying to make the AIML work properly, perhaps just make a plugin that uses a website such as Cleverbot.com - a clever bot - speak to an AI with some Actual Intelligence?

I looked through the website and there are IOS apps made for this, so there must be a way to do this.
